Ive had plenty of times when Ive been disappointed at loot but just had my first real rip. Finally got a faction harpy to fight me olny to find gisti MWD/SB destroyed. Whats the best loot youve ever missed?

I remember there was once a moron who tried to kill me while I was mission running (by pretending to help), then screaming 'Time to die!'.
Of course only then did he realize he should of tricked me into flagging *before* threatening to kill me.
I wish I had his corpse in my hangar so I could have a good laugh every time I saw it.

As I'm pretty young and did only do some piracy/pvp in my early days. I missed out on a hauler that I blew up; 3 Beta Hull expanders.
Nothing better than that tho, yet.

3x Local Hull Conversion Expanded Cargoholds from a iteron 5 ISK farmer.
I got the other 2 beta hulls tho

I killed a Kestral belonging to someone who will remain un-named, and its had a Gisti Sheild Bosster fitted >.< ofcourse, it was destroyed like all good loot.
I did get I nice handfull of T2 Missle launchers and T2 missles which sold for a fair amount though.

Back when I was a noob I was convo'd by someone who'd just lost their ship in an empire war battle. They'd convo'd me because I was near their can and they offered me 500k isk to collect their loot for them.
Among the loot was a tech2 bpo for an ore scanner.
I RETURNED IT!

We once blew up a guy flying a faction-fitted faction BS (in an empire war, not a piritical action, but anyway), only to find out that 3 of the 4 core x-type armour modules he was using had been blown up. We hurt him, but having another one of those survive would've made it all that sweeter.

I love the way that chinese whispers create legends on the forums. They were all copies, apart from a few ammo and gun BPOs, he didn't actually lose too much in all honesty, the biggest loss was his covops and cloak.
Back on topic, I lost a mammoth that was stacked full of tasty expanders to suicide kestrels in Amarr once...

blew up a indie at a gate once, only to find through mail that he'd been chock full of mega and zyd, out off which, his not-so-special carge expanders where the only things to survive :(

A Kaikka's modified XL booster + Gist shield hardener from some Raven.. He did drop 2 of the hardeners tho.

I could care less about loot or ransoming, teh true way to pirate is take their ship and their cargo. A pirate is a profiteer, blowing up the ships and some of the cargo is not profitable!!

Have had a few recently:
Enyo went pop and a 64% hardener went pop in its cargo
Raven had dark blood smarty and dark blood nos go pop with it
&
Crow with domi disruptor and gistii mwd and the disruptor went pop
+
Many more where lots of mins have died and BPOs etc
