We know we have no backup, there is nothing and nobody to fall back on. We've been there before, we know what is required of us.
FIX has a tendancy to beat the odds when they are stacked against us. For a long time, the respect that we earned by overcoming past challenges is what has protected FIX; this time, nobody in FIX is wondering if maybe someone else will come and take off the pressure, everyone is fully aware that it is only ourselves that can be relied upon this time around.
Take the easy bet if you like; if FIX survives, we won't be making the mistake of resting afterwards, and agreeing to a hard fought peace with those who agress us. Southern stability is out the window, I for one, am thankful for the gift.

What will SMASH do if FIX wins the war? What will SMASH do if FIX loses the war and alliances you desided to "support" choose you as a target due to your sticking with the winning side behavior? Who needs an ally you can't trust when times become hard?

Ah. Lets put it this way.
Stain couldnt beat fix in 100 years so they've called for Huzzah to help them. Now 2 of those entities brought more help. Sa offered Querious to Smash if they help them.

If we do die, then we simply didn't deserve to hold our space any more; with this number of opponents coming at us, we'll all know soon enough if FIX can hold fast and turn the tide.
