This is a thread that need to be started. I know scamming is a part of any game but, scamming has hit an all time high in my thought. This Topic is that u know who u can trust and who u can't, now this is my first experience in getting scammed but Wonkomade my list. In addition any report of scamming to the gm they just say it apart of the game according to the gm. But I did not petition it because of the waist of time and energy arguing with them.

I am sorry that you lost so much. However, you gave over 200 Mill worth of stuff to a complete stranger? Why on earth would you do that? Look on the sales forums, there are plenty of trusted and reliable Haulers out there, who pay collateral for your goods, not some dog in Jita who has a "friend."
I mean I know that it hurts when you get scammed, but still, you should not trust ANYONE, EVER. ItĘs safer that way.

I have a waist of time and energy also! It may look like hairy fat, but it is in fact stored energy that can be released over time!
Also, hahahah you got scammed. And apparantly that means that "scamming has hit an all time high". However, this doesn't really justify a sticky for this thread, as it's not the responsibility of the Mods to help players create a reputation system.
It's your responsibility not to be a sucker. I think you can do it!

If you read this post, I'm sorry because nothing will bring your time back. |

Personally I think alot of the scamming is due to alts..and probably to suicide alts (that are deleted/removed sometime after the scam...)..as Macro Media stated...you dont know who my alts are.. Hence a reputation system and even a naming board system fails..
It seems that if you wanted to limit scamming (to a degree atleast) you would start by putting limits on alts...
As to scamming and such. alot of people play eve it seems so they can enjoy the darker twisted sides of their personality in a virtual instead of real world environment.
This game has an almost cyberpunk feel to it as theoretically everyone outside your corp is in one way or another out to get you...
and maybe even your own corp too.
Its just part of eve that is hard for kind gentle peaceful trusting people like the OP and myself to adjust to.
