Dekiri	Posted - 2006.04.10 09:13:00 - [1] I have read a couple of threads already about bob and their powermonging being able to "ruin eve" and other nonsense and i would like to give my 2cent on this. Taken the unrealistic possibility that BoB or any other massive alliance would ever have control about all of 0.0. What would be the consequences? In fact the consequences are quite obvious and not "destroying eve" in any way. You can look at the world and you will see what will happen quite easily. Once BoB would control the "whole universe" they would have a power vacuum. If a massive military force does not have enemies anymore and a goal to focus their military efforts on they will get bored. And i don't mean the leadership of BoB would get bored, no... their members would get bored and maybe single corps within BoB would get bored and they would sooner or later get a nice civil war going. There are just no tools in eve to really supress the whole universe or bigger parts of it. BoB in its current form is i think at the highest possible point of power and if they go further they will eventually get some opposition. I actually would like to see a massive alliance trying to control the whole universe, because then we would soon have the starwars theme of rebels and the empire. It would be extremly funny to see such a huge alliance trying to control all of 0.0 or a bigger part then they are currently. This has so much potential that i would really love to see some other alliances being crushed by bob and not reforming and having bob in the situation that they actually control the biggest parts of the universe, just to see what will happen and what kind of rebel forces would start fighting them. What also would be a nice thingy, would be to watch BoB being more and more carebear fnfested while they grow in power and the results of this. just my 2cents =P

If they come to your space, fight back. If they bring more friends than you have, kick your industrial carebear isk factory people into ships and fight back. Form friendships with like-minded people, corporations and alliances. Complaining with alts doesn't do a damn thing. Fighting with mains does. Anyways, typing about it doesn't do a whole hell of a lot of anything but increase your post count.

Btw... if you actually read what i posted its not that much about BoB its about what could or not possibly ruin the eve universe and the gameplay possibilities that would be the result of such a massive powerconcentration.
