How do I unstack / split stack items? For example: I have 200 missles and want to split them into two stacks of 100. How do I do this? Cant seem to find anything on this subject.

shift drag and drop. The youll get the option.

Note that as far as I can tell, you must be at the location of the item to split. Hence you can't split from the Assets window.

So when at the station, using the missile exsample: I would take the 200 missiles in the hanger and drag them to my cargo hold at which point I will get the option to split them? Now, I've done this before but never have I seen and option to choose the amount I want to move. It just moves the whole stack? Am I missing something?

As stated above, hold down <shift> while dragging.

Just drag the stack while holding the <shift> key.

First, depress the Shift key. Then right click on the stack, while holding down the Shift key. Then, while holding down the right click, drag on the stack. Then release the right click. Then you will get option. The new stack will appear in the same place as the original stack. That is, if the original stack was in the Items window, the new stack will appear in the Items window.
