Maybe doing this over all would be better! Corporation Management will provide +15 members per level. Megacorp Management will provide +75 members per level. Empire Control will provide +150 members per level. Sovereignty will provide +1000 members per level.
So maybe instead 2x rate, a rate of 1.5 would be better! xoxo Amarisen Gream

Why are there corp size limits in the first place? The skills always seemed like an isk sink that serve no purpose. Your corp doesn't get any perks to the skill levels of the corp management skills; they only seem to serve as arbitrary barrier points that are now being revised.
Care to shed the logic on the limits (and skills) in the first place? Step onto the battlefield, and you're already dead, born again at the end of the battle to live on and fight another day.

It is better to have some limits ,this way more corporations can exists, and this will have positive effect on limiting the bloob.
i don't think that quite follows since as we've seen in the past (if I'm not mistaken Goonwaffe originally came about to catch overspill from Goonfleet because there was such an influx of new players joining from SA.com and Remedial didn't have good enough corp skills/Sovereignty hadn't been implemented yet) players will think up ways round any hard limits imposed by creating secondary corporations, especially in the groups where this is most prevalent, namely groups that recruit from outside the game and are coordinated enough to organise workarounds and shell corporations et cetera.
I feel corp member limits provide a barrier for entry and penalise small(er), new(er) entities a lot more than older, more established, more savvy ones such as Brave Newbies to the extent that CEOs have to go out of their ways by a few days to train corp management skills or roll an alt especially for the purpose, which again costs them money. That's not to say that I'm saying that's why CCP is doing this because Fozzie clearly stated it's for the huge corps that are rubbing up on the member limit, but it's a nice knock on effect. It's not a huge change but it's nice to only have to train corp management 5 and still be able to have 100 characters in a corporation.
Gigantic blobs and power creep and numbers are a big problem and I'd perhaps say one of the biggest in nullsec today as they always have been, but arbitrary limits on the number of people in a single corporation are not the way to solve these problems and have never been effective in doing so anyway.
by the way ccp good job axing the stupid racial relations skill i noticed it was gone when i resubbed and that was a nice surprise . |

I have been playing this game a very long time, Its funny as these devs slowly ruin the game.
Bigger Corps = Bigger Alliances = A secured blue doughnut.
Smaller corps = Smaller Alliance = More conflict
The more EGOS , leaders you add to the game the more conflict there will be. I would say also , that no only that Alliance sizes should be capped., the number of blues/ Reds set should be capped.
You want to force more conflict , not just inhale concord alliances./ members.
My 2 cents.

Those four skills total to 4 352 000 SP if I calculated correctly. Sable's Ammo Shop at Alentene V - Moon 4 - Duvolle Labs Factory. Hybrid charges, Projectile ammo, Missiles, Drones, Ships, Need'em? We have'em, at affordable prices. Pop in at our Ammo Shop in sunny Alentene. |

It really doesn't matter because it's trivial to pay somebody with a max corp skilled alt to join, take CEO, update, return the CEO spot and drop corp. I mean sure there's a risk that he'll strip the roles of every director and steal the corp from you, but you can still avoid that by running for CEO before handing control over. Twitter: @EVEAndski

Hey uh, time for a reality check. There's only one corp in the game anywhere near the limit and it's Brave Newbies, at around 5800. Goonwaffe clocks in around 4200, Dreddit around 3800, Red and Blue of RvB at 3700 and 3400 respectively.
Nothing else is really anywhere near that, and raising the cap isn't going to change that at all.

Also everyone whining about this leading to bigger blobs is just wrong. There is literally no difference between two 6300 member corps in one alliance and one 12600 member corp, other than minor quality of life issues that are easily resolved. Twitter: @EVEAndski
