But yea. Sometime somewhere it will happen i guess. And insurance information will matter to ganker. |

I can't see this being particularly important. |

Or perhaps they don't consider it inherently good or bad, they just consider it a valid gameplay mechanic which needs to be balanced like any other one. |

It just seems like it shouldn't be anyone's business but your own whether the ship is insured or not. I'm not sure what the reasoning is behind this, though, and would love to know more about what brought it about before it goes on TQ.
Just to clarify - the current mechanics of this feature are WIP on SISI :) When this goes to TQ you will NOT be able to see if other players ships are insured or not CCP Affinity | Quality Assurance | Team BFF |

In the time it takes you to check whether a ship is insured, they would be able to lock you, and put you into armor. |

Thank you for the clarification, we look forward to your continued progress! If CCP has a developer in charge of Factional Warfare, please come forward and show yourself.
CCP admiting you don't have a plan for FW would be better then keeping up believing in the FW fairy. |

the information on if your ship was insured or not was in form of an extra "insurance" tab in the info window. we just wanted to make the information more obvious by moving the relevant info to a more obvious place and have it better formatted:) CCP Punkturis | EVE UI Developer |

hijacking because of UI dev precense.
When are we getting a major overhaul of the attribute tab in 'show info. Specially for ships, but plenty of modules and drones could benefit from something a lot more compact.
Trivial example, hp and resist for armor and shield (and structure). Bunch them up on one line each (one armor, one shield) fitting window style, I am sure you get the picture. |

I don't see this as a problem. If as one person put it that it'll be used to check insurance of unboarded ships that one supposedly owns then it should be made private information. However, it doesn't really matter, at least to me. I don't insure my ships. There's no reason other than I can't be arsed to do it. And in w-space it can be a real pain We want breast augmentations and sluttier clothing in the NeX! |

nothing left to ague about here... moving on. They hired actual clothing designers for WiS clothes "no wonder the monocle cost $80, they had to pay royalties" Screw "FiS" its called EVE CCP |

Pre Dominion I remember threads like this being locked and Ops told to post a bug report. Then I remember bug reports being ignored and bugs ending up on Tranquillity. Then I remember patches arriving to fix said bugs.
I do not remember CCP taking ownership of bugs on Sisi and being proactive with their player base on the status or intention of those bugs.
CCP Winter 2011 is looking brighter and brighter. |
