To be fair, while awesome, the Evol trailer is not EVE. It's one hell of a bit of eye candy, but it's not something I'd show someone who'd never seen the game before. I think EVE veterans have more appreciation for it.

EVE Never Fades is just SICK. AFAIK, it also took nearly six months of work and careful planning to make. It has no story, but the music, camera work and editing make it one of the few vids that don't need it. Lowa's vid 'Why we do it' that I linked above is another example of this. While not as clean, it still has the same, "OMG I MUST PLAY EVE NOW!!" feel.
The best vids are the ones that are not all about blowing **** up. Almost anyone these days can throw up some combat footage and some music. Story, clean shots with no HUD, the right music and the ability to meld all that together into something that keeps the audeience interested? That is what makes me keep something on my hard drive.

The FoE Contract - This one is about a year old, but still sets the standard in terms of story as far as I'm concerned.
The VOTF Contract - Even older, this was one of the most 'story' driven vids ever released.
Vengeance Of The Fallen - The Exodus Chronicle - LLeBRing at his best. Just stunning.
'The Fallen' by Myal Terago is also amazing. I'm searching for a link now but the three above should keep you busy for an hour or so. 
EDIT - In about two weeks, I will be releasing a 25 min+ long monster called "History of the MC" that will be pure story. I've been working on it for about four months now.
