expect to dish out a couple of billions for such a service though.
The risk of fielding dreads is big. Especially when the enemy is of unknown power and friends. This requires a full fleet of support in case the dreads are agressed, hence you need to pay for an entire blob for a couple of days.
I'd say 2-3b should be enough for a couple of large pos taken down.

To figure out the cost of taking down a POS, i typically just charge 10% of the amount of assets i would need to deploy to take it down in a reasonable amount of time as well as defend the fleet.
For instance, a small pos can be taken with 10 bs and a dread in about an hour to hour and half. thats roughly 3 billion in assets needed. so typically a charge of around $300 mil is charged. now, if we have to take it to 0.0 or take on a hard core pvp corp, obviously more assets are going to have to be deployed, such as carriers to defend the dreads. that could easily take the cost over 1 billion.
Now assume a large pos out in deep 0.0. Thats a huge number, it could take 80 to 100 billion in assets that need to be put into motion as well as coordinating many corps. Dont be surprised to see removal pricing around 8 to 10 billion range on a pos like this.

It's only a meduim, with mininmal guns. they could field a counter attack, but doubtful as they would come up against resistance. and it's in low sec, not 0.0

We've taken down a POS with just six bs before, in 0.3... i guess it depends how smart the ppl who set it up are :)

I'll bet you didn't do it in an hour, though. Also, had any defence appeared, you would've had to leave. While certainly possible, it's generally a better idea to spend the extra isk and get it done fast. ------------------------------------------------ I buy/sell any and all faction ships. Nope that was FAT-6P.
I vaguely remember hearing from TS that they popped a SA pos just south of the stain region proper I think... Honestly it was the first time I heard we had a tower up that was related to taking a station since... a very long time.

You could do it without dreads in that case.
A group of Ravens with EM torps, plus support, would make short-ish work of it.

We have developed a capital fleet for this purpose. We realized that it was a niche of the mercenary market not completely exploited and as such now are available for such contracts.
If indeed you are interested in pricing then I will require the following information:
Location (System & Moon)
Corporation
Size
Defenses (in # of guns and modules)
From there I can give you an estimate and once more specific intel is conducted I can give you a fixed rate and terms.
