So last year was hectic, in terms of the FW and EVE lore type deal. caldari prime was huge, and even the murder of the ray of matar caused tensions. so, thats alot of gallente, caldari and minmatar lore and events happening.
WTF have the amarrians been doing this whole time? Me being an amarrian, and following every bit of world news that CCP creates, im greatly dissapointed about the lack of Amarr 'storytelling' if you will. Empress jamyl isnt a typical empress. she is a person who likes to act. not sit around.
so can we please have some Amarrian related events? |

While the Gallente were shooting up Caldari (Battle for Caldari prime), and minmatar were shooting up Gallente (the Colelie incident)The Amarr have been busy trying to push for a new Reclamation, but so far Empress Jamyl Sarum I would have none of it.
Also, the Khanid Kingdom & Amarr Empire relations have been blooming, if I have it correct, King Khanid even gained an important position within the Amarr Empire as a sign for new times to come, a time of a once more united Empire in the future.
So while there hasn't been much in live events for the Amarr, there has been important stuff going on behind the scenes.

I think the estate of Frank Herbert notified CCP that they were not amused by their appropriation of the Abomination from Dune, (later, the Regent in place of the missing Maud'Dib) and so they have had to slow down and figure out a slightly more original backstory for everyone's favorite lore breaking clone.
Of course exactly like the Regent Talia, Empress Jamyl was on her way to losing her mind last time we checked in.
CCP really needs to hire some qualified science fiction writers.

The Templar program. They created it, and the Empress gave the technology to all of the other empires once she found a way to make sure the mercenaries wouldn't go insane like the first generation Templar. |

all those evenst were triggered by player actions in gallente / caldari fw so if you want some events for amarr it might help if you do something in FW example take all systems. |

The Amarr Empire has been quietly watching the other Empires and how they have acted:
The ejection/removal of the DUST Mercenaries from various armed forces (at least publicly) was a boon for the Amarrians, as the Empress gave those that wished it a place to settle in peace and calm. The chaos between the Caldari and Gallente, including the internal turmoil of the Caldari State, is being watched; Whilst it currently has had no effect on the Empire, there is no need to get involved too much until it starts pointing towards harming assets of the Empire.
The Minmatar are barely people anyway, so why should we care what some petty ungrateful swines think ;)
Just because we have had a period of relative quiet from the Imperial Court, this doesn't mean that nothing big is about to happen : lets hope GutterPress gets the shock story that the Empress can indeed believe that it is not butter (or something similar)

Also, I remember the days when player battles and in-game events were reported on the login screen. Now I really have to search for lore developments if I want them.
