Thats the general PVP setup with occasionally jammers or a warp scrambler fitted instead of the damps.
Fit a small blaster or rail in the last high if you have the CPU or PG but usually that is left unused.
A manticore will pretty much be un*****ble until covert ops level 3 or 4

oh and just to add i find T2 cruise fitted with precision cruise often help pack a bigger punch when aiming or smaller targets

Of course you can. All you need is covert ops level 3 at least. and a micro auxillary power core then they fit aswell as the other usual stuff :)

I fit 3x cruise II on mine...
i like precision missile to much, and with the manty's bonus to missile precision my explosion radius is 20m...... and the ocasional fury is nice too. but of course fitting is really tight. depends on your skills for fitting and your covert ops skills what your mids can be, just play around with different setups you will learn what you like and can fit.
Originally by: Twilight Moon of course you have nice hair. That pod goo, is actually VO5 conditioner.

its a stealth bomber. these ship have bonuses which allow them to fit the larger weapon ------ manticore: Caldari Frigate Skill Bonus: 19.65% reduction in Cruise Launcher powergrid needs and 5% bonus to Cruise Missile kinetic damage per level
Covert Ops Skill Bonus: 5% reduction in Cruise Launcher powergrid needs and 25% bonus to cloaked velocity per level -----------------
soo with caldary frig 5 which is a requirement you get 78.6% less power grid requirement, plus even less depending on the level your covert ops skill is too

don't know where you got that number
at level 5 frig it's 98.25% reducted fitting requirements... if you happen to have advanced weapon upgrades as well that further reduces the fitting costs
I'm not sure how the manticore's additional bonus is applied, the 5% per level reduction, but according to quickfit, at maxed skills, a cruise launcher II will take only 12.925 grid to fit, while an arbalest will take 12.305...
this is by far the least of any stealth bomber

Edited by: Idara on 18/04/2006 01:37:54 If you plan on actually warping anywhere with the Mant, swapping a midslot for a Small Cap Battery II and a MAPC in low is very much needed. Even with L5 Energy Management and Warp Op I manage around 70 warp on a single charge with a Small Batt II, without it it's around 40 or something pathetic.
3x Arbalest Cruise, 1x Imp Cloak II 2x Sensor Boosters, 1x Sensor Damp, 1x Small Cap Battery II 1x Domination BCU, 1x MAPC.
Fits with about 3-4 pg spare and around 10 cpu free.

That's a very good point, and one that seems to get overlooked with this ship. Warping is a ***** simple as that.
I was going to ask... when it comes to cloaking while locked, how easy/practical is it to break that lock so you can re-cloak? Is it practical and if so, what modules are best to do this?

Edited by: Jacinto Naysmith on 28/04/2006 14:33:11 Since you cant warp while cloaked in a stealth bomber, warping is a liability. While a cap battery (or several) is handy for a large number of jumps, once I'm in system I never do a whole lot of warping.
