Tippia wrote:Elric Astrius wrote:if you cant accept the players suggesting radical ways of improving the game People love ideas that radically improve the game. The OP's troll list of bad ideas doesn't do that GÇö it removes the game from the market. Following the OP's logic, all games must be Super Mario Brothers. Do you want to take guess what happens at that point?
I understand what you are saying, but we MUST learn to respect their logic even if to us it is skewed, now what are we saying here... we chastize people who might percieve the game in a extreme direction.. Forgive me tippia but isnt the whole PVP community a bit extreme, I read one posting where a guy shared a very disturbing story about his best friend screwing his wife and this was related to a PVP posting and it ended saying "im not going to cut your wanker off, you are; im just going to burn the shed" I reported it and really is this how people think in this game? If it is how the majority thinks then the OP has a right to go the other direction along the lines of SMB.. because at least then its innocent rather than full of gore and corruption .. EVE wasnt designed to cater to bloodlust... You got games like Medal of honor to do that or Black ops 3 ... If they want blood do it somewhere else. EVE is meant to cater to all people... Not only to those who seek revenge and blood... You know... |

Quote:Forgive me tippia but isnt the whole PVP community a bit extreme It is no more extreme than the Gǣwe must have safety, or you will all DIIIIIIEGǥ nonsense you hear on the other sideGǪ quite a lot less extreme, in fact, since that opposite nonsense is just plain old untrue.

Nah. That sounds more like a WoW storyGǪ those guys are nuts, which is why they should stay there.
Quote:EVE wasnt designed to cater to bloodlust Actually, it was. Its whole existence is contingent on the continuous wholesale slaughter of tons upon tons of ships and equipment GÇö without that, nothing else in the game serves any purpose any longer.
Quote:EVE is meant to cater to all people... Close, but missing a crucial detail. EVE is meant to cater to all people who want to be in an interconnected universe where what you do matters, and where you are a cog in the eternal war machinery. It is not a happy place where you can do your own thing, because every thing you do affects everyone else, and you have to expect that everyone else will do their damnedest to affect you right back. It is not a sharded, instanced, multplay-as-the-mood-suits-you kind of game; you are never GÇ£just doing your thingGÇ¥ GÇö the game quite literally does not support that gameplay.
It's when you think it does that things start to go badly for you and you can't figure out why. GÇöGÇöGÇö GÇ£If you're not willing to fight for what you have in GëívGëí you don't deserve it, and you will lose it.GÇ¥ GÇö Karath Piki-á |

1. no. Hisec is safER, not safe. get over it. 2. TBH, it is tolerable ... you're not one of those "I need L5 everything before I can fit a Triatan" types, are you? 3. Working as intended. Lie, cheat, steal to your heart's content (just be prepared to deal with the consequences). 4. "Griefing" ... you use this word a lot. I don't think it means what you think it means. 5. ABSOFUCKINGLUTELY NO 6. Hello Kitty Online is this way

Let us hypothetically say that this poster does have "issues" we shouldnt close the book on the issue to cater to those with learning disabilities given that its being inhumane to treat another human being with malice (now im not saying you tippia) but its very hard to look at this picture and not consider the "what if" scenario because sometimes you never know just who is behind this monitor i mean if we all thought in correct logic, there wouldnt be differences and science fiction would become reality. I think Tippia we are on the same page, but at the same time I just dont appreciate that people dont take the time to learn the community and try seeking them out in ways that arent being that hateful, now I am not saying ingame should be all rainbows and sunshine but if we are going to co-exist shouldnt the communities have some truce.. At least have a neutral zone established i dont think 0.5 - 0.1 is going to cut it. If we are going to look at how to bring in subscribers we need to make sure CCP isnt pulling on the wrong strings. The OP had thier point but I think people went after her like a rabid dog, and well shes a human being... there has to be some shred of humanity left |

1) No and No. The PVP is everywhere part is what makes EVE what it is. 2) Well i'm not sure. I must admit that the training time is sometimes really looong but that's why you have to specialise. You must keep in mind having all skills trained is like having a character of all classes at max in level in a traditional MMO. 3) No. I would agree with protecting official "newbie" channels from scams but tbh scams aren't so bad. If you fall for it once (which can happen to anyone) ok it can hurt but it easy to recuperate and if you get scammed more than once shame on you. 4) It's called "doing something about it yourself". That's what EVE is all about. 5) No, would kinda beat the purpose of Wardecs wouldn't it? 6) none what you suggested does that. -Death is nothing, but to live defeated and inglorious is to die daily. |

If they did that, they should balance it with a very high income tax in high sec.

0/10 for content 7/10 for ban evasion 10/10 for corp name
so overall 3/10 The American public's reaction to the change was poor and the new cola was a major marketing failure. The subsequent reintroduction of Coke's original formula, re-branded as "Coca-Cola Classic", resulted in a significant gain in sales, leading to speculation that the introduction of the New Coke formula was just a marketing ploy |
