I think this might be the hardest post I ever had to make. On one hand, I want to yell "OMGWTFBBQWEEKEND WE ROXORS!", and on the other hand, i want to just sit back and relax and realize that this Easter, have been the most intense and the most rewarding weekends in my EvE life.
Welcome to BoBmania(tm). The Bunny hunt is over.
Since friday we have visited most of eve's regions and most of eve's alliances. In my journals im writing down roughly 1000 jumps in 3 days. Since friday, when we started the Bunny Hunt(tm), we have laid waste to roughly 35 billion in insurance value, without counting factions ships.
Since friday, we have laid waste to 328 battleships, 53 battlecruisers, 18 heavy assault cruisers, 169 cruisers, 292 frigate class ships, a dread, and a 100 million hitpoint Outpost Egg. We have taken stations with frigates and cruisers, while waiting for battles, in short, i think we done just about everything.
We have jumped in to fleet camps with omgwtfBUBBLES!!!! twice our sice, we have leroyed with 20 people vs 50 battleships, we have chased fleets, and been chased by the omgwtfBLOB!... Most of all, we have all been laughing, cheering, and thrown our balls against the walls so many times that they are now flat. We have broken records we thought were gonna be hard to beat.. with 119 BS kills in one day, followed by 110 BS kills before DT the following day (omg insane?!?!??).
We usually don't feel the need to thump our chest and say "HEY! We're good!", but right now, im gonna say this, once...
We're not good, we're flipping awesome!
For ASCN/TRIBALS - Sandwiches are nice, bring more next time, the battles rocked.
For FIX - You guys are... insane. 5 fleet fights in 12 hours??? Sorry about your egg, but...
For NORAD - T1 cruisers are good, as long as you dont run into T2 cruisers.
For The Big Blue - 25 BS and 3 carriers are i lil bit overkill for 20 frigates/cruiser mmkay?
For Goons - You guys need to live up to the zerg reputation you have, BKG could have been FUN!
For BoB - The Easter Bunny Hunt Operation is now officially over.

Was really really hard coming back to work today after the absolute havoc of this weekend. Was simply simply amazing. Special props' to mah brothers across the pond who I KNOW watched 2 or 3 sunrises to make sure the job got completed.

Normally I'm against the kind of mindless chest thumping and bandwaggoning that is going to be posted here.
However, I am simply astounded by the sheer level of combat performance that was had this weekend. Whilst there were a few mistakes made, and the lag-monster did rear its ugly head on more than one occasion, I don't think there is any other entity in the EVE universe that could have done what we did. Countless times I was prepared to log off and sleep but kept going for fear of what i would miss.
I even came back after one of my harddrives crashed simply to stop my corpmates from scoring more points than me (goddamn you Hunyoo!)
It was simply brilliant, everything about it, from the balls-to-the-walls approach to the countless number of times we jumped into enemy fleets (what was it? Nine or ten times this weekend?)
I send my thanks out to all of those who stood up and put some antimatter shells into my hull; it wouldn't have been the same without you!

We had just deployed an outpost egg in the next system over about 20-30 minutes before you arrived, one of those situations where a dose of paranoia and overkill feels appropriate.
Other than that, was fun if a bit tense. Keeps the "tinfoil hats" crew supplied with new conspiracy theories with that timing for next couple weeks
Edit: Admittedly the fact you warped in regardless was surprising. Has to be said the folks in that interceptor pack weren't afraid of risks, that's for sure.

Mad props to everyone we've fought against since Friday afternoon. Really big respect to ASCN/TS/POS for so many big fights down south and an especially HUGE amount of respect for FIX you guys just do not know when to give up.
Goodness knows how we're going to top this because I am stumped. Really, really need to get some sleep now

Yeah, but did you have to call my Vigilant as primary, come on Shrike was right next to me in a Zealot he's a better target than me. 
Although I'm surpised I survived as many warps around system with those two carriers fighters on my tail.

In "defence" of the Goons - If I remember rightly (and it was around 3 am or later in the morning so excuse any mistakes) at the time of your visit to BKG, ERA were preparing to bring a freighter into the system and the Goons had been asked to stand-by to escort it. They were raring to engage you but were asked not to.
Having fought along side the Goons this last week I can safely say their Zerg reputation is fully intact and well earned.
And congrats on your successful bunny hunt :)

It would have been classy for BOB to wait till that outpost was built, and bring a dread fleet to destroy it... At least we could have seen what it looked like for a while.

God damm...
Awsome weekend, 12 hours in a row each day playing eve and the will to leave the game was null.
I gave up on finding the easter egg at 2 a.m. sunday to get some sleep and work monday morning.
This will teach me not to sleep..
Nice job my brothers in finding the "egg".
Props to all involved. It was a "thrown our balls against the walls so many times that they are now flat" weekend.

I dont know exactly why ascn shoot me when i was in a support ship first and wasnt only me i mean bs and not shooting on our bs maybe they need new fc tbh but was really cool ascn can bring so many ppl to fight to make the victory even sweeter. Hope u liked molle to see following painball in warp :)

Best Weekend Ever!! :-)
Sad thought that I missed out on many of the shifts but the ones I did catch were crazy...
Mad props to FIX for your persistance, really enjoyed ED-'s fights, from us barging in elbows swinging to having to defend ourselves from the 3? warpins whilst we were hitting the egg.
Funniest part for me was when you guys jumped in at uber close range (~4k), I was half way through changing crystals so had 1 multispec, 4 ultraviolets and a radio on my deck when you jumped in so just went "ah **** it" and started the F1->F6 finger sliding to engage with what I had :-).

If anything the module lag had increased during the bob engagement, but they had less emergency warps, possibly due to the fact that they came in from 3fkcz instead of 9sbb. Also they were the second gimangous fleet to fight us that day. btw does emergency warp ignore warp bubbles? wtf I could of sworn I saw people warping out of the bubble.

For the first engagement yes, for the later we had 50%(droped with each engagement) bs' 50% (rose with each engagement) support with about 5 t1 ships.

Well, once again BoB lived up to their reputation and more or less slaghutered our fleets. Over several good enguagements I think we scored about a 33% kill ratio. It was defanitly an eye opener in terms of abilities and tactics. Its been a long time since the Corps in ASCN/AXE had to go head to head with you guys, we need to relearn how to fight on your terms.
To the Credit of ASCN, we did bring it to every battle and even fought outnumbered and out gunned on several ocasions. It was a great learning expierance for a great many in ASCN.

Speaking as someone who has only been in Bob (Evol in particular) for 14 days.. Im breathless. Within the first 24 hours of joining, I came to understand how it is that Bob does what it does, and the last two weeks has just been constant reinforcement.
To Tribe, was a good fight with impressive numbers. Very impressive my friends.
To ASCN, that was the most intense fight I have been in, in a very long time. Between the waves of ASCN attacking, warping out to planets only to find 20 of you there, the three or four guys that shot at me during EVERY engagement... It was a blast. <3
To Fix, props for the amazing fights as well, and as mentioned in another thread, the dignity that you show no matter who holds the field.
To Big Blue.. That was my first Taranis loss that included multiple faction battleships.
As for how BoB do what they do, a quote from the big blue engagement with our intie fleet:
"There fleet is almost entirely BS, and they have a carrier"
"Untick BS from overview"
"Ahhh, I like those odds"

Ok you guys are pretty good, but if celes ever posted something like this we would get the flame ripped out of us! I mean we faught in vale and tribute and one fight we where in 900-lh and we had 22 ships adn they had 46 ships! and we lost 3 ship and they lost 36 ships, now we arent boasting about it! we just let our guns do the talking, so stop being so over confident, because one day the thing that will kill you is a little stone you will trip over on and break your neck!

You know what was great about this weekend (personal opinion)?
The entire scale of the op.
We aren't talking about one or two isolated fights, we roamed around pretty much all of Eve over the course of the bunny hunt.
We had a pretty good idea where each trip would take us, but it wasn't set in stone, and that just added to the interest.
The funniest part for me was taking the station in FAT with our frigates, destroyers, and cruisers in a vain attempt to make the larger SA fleet (which had those battleship thingies) engage us.
Completely unplanned, just a spur of the moment thing.
I went to places in Eve I haven't been to in over 18 - 24 months, and that was pretty cool too.
You can flame away at Molle's post (he likes it when you do anyway), and you can critique the individual fights until the cows come home, but none of that will detract from what was for me probably the most fun weekend I have ever had in Eve.
Props to those who fought back.
Shame on those who didn't.

fair point, however if you guys replaced those t1 ships with t2 ships you would win a LOT more fights. But at the end of the day i'd rather see people coming out in ships they can afford to loose just to have fun and play the game rather than people who just stay docked. I guess thats why i love Fix, SE, ASCN and tribal, cos they just bring it and if you kill them you know they're isk is spent keeping they're hangers restocked, thats why we leave you norad guys longer to refill your hangers, cos we spank you a couple of times and you hide or come out in really cheaply fitted out ships :( which is a shame, cos when you fight, it's really good fun for both sides.

Without a doubt, one of the craziest, and most enjoyable weekends playing Eve. Big props to my fellow BoB'its, AND all the enemies who stood up and gave us a good fight and much enjoyment.

I remember that, it was ridiculous. Xetic didn't have a goddamn clue what they were doing, and just contented themselves to repeatedly suicide large numbers of battleships into the CA fleet. That was some of the most fun I've had in the game.
I still think this is more BS killed, and there wasn't even dreads or outposts in the game at the point. The outpost egg alone was worth more then all the BS killed in the Xetic campaign total.
