would be ironic to the extreme to see the first titan ever built start its life on Ebay :p
its probably worth more in cash than what its worth ingame, typical "unique item" syndrom eheh -

Goonfleet.
Yes I know, laugh laugh laugh, keep laughing until a titan jumps into your system with 800 frigates in tow
I think that would be the ultimate shocker to the EvE community
I'd be laugh, laugh, laughing when they decimate their own fleet when they pop the super weapon

I heard the ghost of xetic bought it and shipped it to Jove empire to research and add neon lights to the end product.

Originally by: Wu'Buz Picture the scene, an alliance pilot goes and buys the titan BPO, and on the way back to 0.0, a lone pirate snipers the ship and blows the ship up, looting the BPO.
then you would get probed in that system by like 50 guys....sooooo i would jetison it and blow it up

I bought it. I'm currently doing a heap of research on the BPO to cut production costs. The first BPC will be available in about 3 years, give or take a few months.
If you would like to order one earlier to avoid the rush, just send me 5 billion credits, plus 1 billion credits per run you want on the copy. Delivery is your own problem.

Don't ask me why.
More seriously: I don't even know what you can do with a titan except using the super weapon (and clone jump to it) ? If it was able to open a jump portal for other ships, it would be interesting. ___________ 'Only ships can be assembled, this is a Frigate.' |

If he was smart he'd use one helluva fleet to escort him even in empire, let alone in 0.0, d'oh.

Because fleets are cooler than carriers and such an important epic operation strengthens the ties within the alliance. Bla.

I really cant see what all the fuss is about... a LOT of ppl, corps and alliances have the isk to easily foot the bill for a titan.
Anyone with a cap recharger BPO can do it... someone just bought a HULK BPO for 82 bill... some alliances spent hundreds of billions on outposts, it would make sense to spend another couple of hundreds on a few titans.
Titans will be in game around june.. and more than one im sure :)

Would it not make sense to have 4 titans (Evol, RKK, BNC, DICE), 1 of each type, so you get a really pretty explosions when all 4 go off at the same time? signature removed - please email us if you want to know why - Oldmailman([email protected]) |

I'd put money on it being Ascendant Frontier. They have about a billion and twenty outposts already (read: 8), so I'd be surprised if a titan wasn't in the works. They certainly have the industrial capability to achieve it. This seems even more likely if you take into account the DANSH contract recently completed.
Band of Brothers have a pilot preparing to fly an Amarr titan and I'd be very surprised if they were buying more than one BPO at this stage.
I'd be interested to know what Dusk and Dawn are up to. They seem to have kept rather quiet since their formation, but I very much doubt that it's because of lack of anything work reporting.

About eight weeks I think. You can probably shave that down to six weeks with skills.
And it costs tons to make, completely impractical to research; takes like 6 weeks just to research 1 ME level
yes, but when you have built 150 of them you see the profits of researching the BPO
