Hi everyone,
Singularity has been updated to Rubicon 1.3 and is ready for first public testing. Some features are still missing and some others are still not polished. This thread will be the general feedback thread for all features, which have no separate feedback threads.
Balance changes by Game of Drones and Five 0:
Tri Lambda More info soon
Little Things by CCP karkur, CCP Punkturis and CCP Merc
Known Issues:
- Mac client is broken. It will very likely crash and you need to kill the process "wineserver" before being able to start any other EVE client.

Alvatore DiMarco wrote:Going one by one through the ships in the market, the preview window is telling me that shaders got a massive tweak and the paint jobs themselves seem to have been upgraded. Some ships are darker, a lot of ships are shinier, the Succubus looks incredible and Gal/Cal navy ships have this curious metallic sheen to the paint.
If you see any ships where the textures seem to be far darker than before or otherwise broken please file a bug report so we can look into it. You're correct that a lot has changed behind the scenes, the art guys will be posting more info soon. Game Designer | Team Five-0 https://twitter.com/CCP_Fozzie

Well, this patch was a "bit" less smooth than expected. Fixes are being worked on and will be released to Sisi asap.
The main chat issue is already fixed and will get to Sisi with the next patch (as soon as it finishes building and passes a rough smoke test).
We have several issues related to reading cache files. These are being worked on - workaround for most of them is to clear the client cache + settings.
Meadowvale wrote:Errors found so far on first inspection 1. Creation, download and application of new build took 1hr on 40Mb fibre connection using 60Mb ethernet connection to hub - no download tab available on launcher to change # of threads used to download updates (extremely slow DL). 2. F12 doesnt work ! 3. Client has been reset to new account settings (inc tutorial run thru) although ships etc appear to be correct - cannot access assets icon to check other locations. 4. Unable to edit any chat channel settings or load any MOTD. 5. Neocom icons only partially functional - not all icons open. 6. Relog doesn't solve items 2-5. 7. Total of unapplied Masstest SP is correct.
ad 1: Slow download: You might want to try to copy the launcher version from TQ to your Sisi folder (copy the whole /launcher/ folder). We found that the launcher version on Singularity was way slower in some cases and we are allowing now both versions for some time.
ad 2: Hmmm, it works for me. A bug report with a log from logserver.exe would be useful (assuming you find no way to open the bugreporting window).
ad 3, 4: See above
ad 5: Which ones are failing to open? So far I know only about the mail window being broken, if the mail cache cannot be read. CCP Habakuk | EVE Quality Assurance | Team Gridlock-á Bug reporting | Mass Testing |

New patch deployed to Sisi for fixing chat (and other minor things).
Mac patch is still in transit, should be available within the hour (but not sure yet, if it fixes the Mac problems).
If you have further problems with chat: Please try to clear your client cache.

tgl3 wrote:Chat still appears bugged for me. Neither account sees each other type, nor anyone else in any channel. No MOTD appears on either char in any channels. This is a clean install of Sisi (including the appdata/local files.
Oh and the settings reset on both, but that seems to be a known issue.
Could you please write a bug report if clearing settings does not work? We know that this can happen, if you have saved bookmarks for the ingame browser (don't ask me why...). CCP Habakuk | EVE Quality Assurance | Team Gridlock-á Bug reporting | Mass Testing |

We know that this can happen, if you have saved bookmarks for the ingame browser (don't ask me why...). Done. Both accounts also cannot load the web browser (http://i.imgur.com/wsHl3SJ.png) Want one submitted for the browser as well? EDIT - sent a bug report for browser anyway.
I received the bug reports and they seem to be indeed caused by failing to load browser bookmarks. For me it worked as workaround to rename the folder \AppData\Local\CCP\EVE\*_singularity_singularity\settings\Browser. Not sure why a full delete of appdata files did not work. tgl3 wrote: That worked on both the chat and the browser loading. How odd. I cleaned the entire folder out before. Yay! Shame about the default client settings though.
Good to know. We will work on proper fixes for these cache and settings issues tomorrow. I'm off for today :)
Btw: The Mac client seems also working now, but I had only a very short look. CCP Habakuk | EVE Quality Assurance | Team Gridlock-á Bug reporting | Mass Testing |
