Not that I want to bid..I have my own mining alt beotch.. however, bump for an excellent idea..

You want me to put you in a mining ship, covetor or other suitable ship, with mods and all, with a total value of around 30-40 mill, and then pay you 10M+ or whatever to mine with me?
Yeah, I would like to pay you 10M+ just to see you run off with my expensive mining ship/mods. Yepp, really clever. I smell a Darwin award for the poor fella who wins this "contest".

Lol, I really doubt that he would rip you off, why would he ruin a rep he worked so hard for to earn a whole 30-40m?

This can either be a great laugh and some fun mining or a scam, he may just take the isk and run like we have seen people do so using these forums recently or he might come and try make a run off with the barge. I have a nice 0.7 system surrounded by low sec that would be perfect.
However as a result of the recent scamming i have seen on these forums i will not bid, its a pity cause if he is sincere i am sure he is good company.

Hopefully concord will stop that. But sure the possibility is there that someone puts me in a burst, pay me the money, to then gank me and have concord blow them up. Also counting that there is a chance that I can warp out before they take my pod.
Altho, I'm not entierly sure that the pilots of EVE would appriciate an act like that so I have to hope that the winner actually wants my company rather than a chance to kill me.

A scam making me some 50-ish million at the expense of my reputation is nothing I ever would do, you could put me in a Titan filled with T2 BPOs and I wouldn't run off with them.
I don't play this game to get as much ISK as possible, I play because I enjoy it, and the value of my reputation is worth more than all the T2 BPOs in this game.

I doubt very much this is a scam as if it is reported that what he was doing here was a scan this account wouold be banned from the forums as in the sell thread rules, and i doubt that this toon is an alt.

When does the 5 hours start? When your first laser hits a 'roid? I can imagine this being a good 8-10 hours of your time given the right location. =)

It starts around the time I join the winner in the system of their choice, so it's more around 5 hours than exactly 5 hours, if they are nice it might even be longer.

If by "run with it" you mean "fly away really slowly, cursing your buddy to hurry up and activate the Cyno field before someone realizes you're moving away at 13m/s and shouts 'Look! He's gettin away!'"
Titans don't run. They don't even trot.
But it would be pretty funny... fly off at 20m/s or whatever and shout over your shoulder, "Hah! You'll never catch me!"
Then your buddy is all "Man, that Veldspar is outrunning you."
