Hi all
Am about to start doing lvl 4 missions in my vagabond and was just after som comments on my set up before jumping in.
I have done lvl 4 missions before so am aware of what i will be up against.
Hi:
6 x 650mm Artillary cannons 2
2 x Large missle launcher
Med:
Medium shield booster 2
Kinetic Hardener 2
Termal hardener 2
invulnerability 2
Low:
2 x Gyro 2
Ballistics control 2
Warp Stab
CPU upgrade
I will be up against Guristas. so kinetic/thermal damage?
any input would be appriciated.

erm... a Vag only has 6 high slots (5/2 layout)
Plus, you would still be hard pressed to do the majority of lvl 4 missions in a Vag.

no matter how many times I repeat "mission running vagabond" in my head, it just doesn't sound right, you know? It's like sacriligious or something :)

Here is what I use for lvl 4(amarr navy missions):
5 t2 720mm artillery
1 arbalest rocket launcher
1 named ab
1 gistii small shield booster
2 t2 invul. shield hardener
2 t2 pdus
1 Internal force field array
1 t2 rcu
1 t2 gyro
t2 light drones x5
This setup can break Mordus Mammoth and the final boss in angel extravaganza. Recharge more than enough shield to tank without much warp out.

And the keeper oth the BPO gave onto him a vagabond and saideth "though shall not use this to w***eth missions, or I shall gift to thy enemies locator agents and they shall lay there vengance upon thee"

guys, stop telling people how they should use their ships. the OP paid for the ship and he got rights to use it in anyway he likes. enjoy your own game and let others to have their fun. geez....

I lost 2 vagabonds in lvl3 missions (shame to say).
I'm more Muninn pilot, but for Vagabound I would go for:
5x 220Vulcan t2 1 Med NOS
Large Gist Shield Booster, 1 inv field t2, domination Webber (90% at 15km), AB t2
3Gyro t2, 2x PDU t2 (add some more PDU if you want tank better - keep cap longer)
as for arty setup, when you get webbed and scrambled, taking out the frigs with drones will take some time.
And with AC you do more DPS
having good speed you will not get hit by BSs and some Cruisers

Aside from anything else I find they get through too much ammo to be a viable PvE ship. Played about with a vaga a while ago on the test server in 6/10 blood complexes. Was all well and good, just couldn't get to the bits I really wanted to test solo due to running out of ammo.

Amen.
That said, when I get home from work I'm going to fit 5 miner II's on my Vaga... Just to SS it mining. Think it'll be cool =D
