In a previous thread similar to this one I said no, but as my sub runs out october 12th I found myself looking for a resubscribe button on the website last week and could not find one...
I just hope they fix this strange patch before it annoys me too much and I buy another game and forget about this one.

p.s anyone who doesnt like Eve patches should try nicotine patches. i gave up smoking a month ago and they are the buisness. its like smoking all the time. you feel cool, no negative side effects, wicked vivid dreams and in the uk a months perscription for an equivilant 20 a day habit is six pounds compared to one hundread and forty pounds in cigerettes.

Partially due to the Bugs and changes... I don't feel the changes have been thought out, and since I used to be an Ultima Online player I've been to that fairyland, thanks.
I'm not a PvPer myself really, but I thought mature PvP would be a part of everyday life in EVE... a risk, an edge to things.
100% unkillable Police and the unbalanced Combat and Trade has unfortunately made EVE similar to UO... A few same-old same-old Configs used in PVP, a lot of camping, Market extremely messed up, and the game getting steadily easier.
I hope EVE will get tweaked and not fall into another Tram/Fel area trap 
Strange complaints from a self-confessed PvM and non-Combat type maybe!

nope. There is much more than that, but the ppl who really play the pirate life stressed out many times the problems. You obviously never play that game style to just consider the impossiblity to hunt in empire space as the only problem.
If it boring or impossible to play a criminal or a pirate when the game was claiming you could do so and you are buying the game to play that style, why would you renew your account on EVE?
In short, Why to renew the subscription when you are a pirate?
The answer is: there is less and less reason to do so.

Eve is starting to get boring. This game seriously needs more content than it currently has. Also they say this game was great for combat yet the lagfest when in combat with more than several ships is horrible.
Guess I'm hoping they will fix a lot of things before my account is due for renewal. Maybe I'll go pirate. Hey Moo/Sinister, you guys hiring

Aw, the poor pirates. Always so picked on, never does another soul consider thier needs and feelings...
Prolly because the majority (No, not all of you.) seem to think piracy has something to do with killing everything and everyone that will make you giggle without much of a mind as to a solid, reasonable cause. Do those shuttles make drops, give you money, serve ANY purpose other than sheer mischief value? The life of a pure antagonist must surely be a boring one, especially when defenses are set into place in empire space to thwart your plans.
Course, I'm prolly just a carebear to you, or some other choice term for someone who doesn't blindly follow in line with your paradigm of inproductive slaughter. Maybe, just /maybe/ if you found something to do other than be a griefer, you might find something of lasting entertainment value? Nah, nevermind, podding shuttles and thier pilots is prolly far easier. 
Btw: Those of you who wanna flame; relax, sit back and pour yourself a warm mug of STFU! It only hurts cause it's true. Those not guilty aren't gonna complain. The more of you folks who get ****y because you can't pod random John Doe at an Empire gate, the more I think yes, I'll definately renew.

Yup, I even bought a second account .
As it happens RL will keep me from playing properly for about the next 4/5months, but since I did not know that until recently and also recently bought 6month sub on both accounts I look forward to when I can get back into to it, eh, fulltime .
A solution forhard working pirates, spend 2 weeks writing down the name of evry corp you see or hear about then wage war o the lot of them. A good 500 wars at least, and then you can hunt people where you like, lmao

Yes.
I periodically perform evaluations on my past-times whatever they may be, to determine if I still get the same level of enjoyment from them. EVE is currently fulfilling my hopes and I have the stamina to occasionally take the odd bump and knock.

I'm taking some time off while on a business trip and I'll make my decision then. Hopefully they will have things fixed by then. Right now I'm angry over the sloppy QA work that was done on this patch.
Before anyone who does programming yells, I work in IT for a software house as a network engineer so I do know what it takes. I also do some light programming myself, still learning, so I also know how complex something like this is and I'm still angry about the sloppy QA work that was done.

Hell yes, I would renew. Patches are always perceived as good and bad by the playerbase. Post patch *****ing wouldn't sway me from renewing, and I thoroughly enjoy the game pre and post patch.

Aye, I'd renew. Had loads of fun so far, and even with buggy patches, (2 steps forward, 1 step back)and trickle in features, it -has- gotten better since live launch.
