Please contact Loftia, Scaramaus or Knight Ice if you are interested joining SCI. Please read below to learn more about this vibrant corporation.
Southern Cross incorporated could best be described as a community focused corporation that is based upon ideals of co-operation. It is the structure, regulations and principles of this community that I will try to outline here. For those of you are considering SCI as a potential home I would like you to understand that these are not idle words, nor are they a wish list for the future.
This is an outline of SCI as it stands today!
SCI has a very strong focus upon group activity and nurturing a sense of belonging in itÆs members. Via a group approach to the production activities SCI encourages the specialisation of itÆs members and cooperation with other SCI members. By building this community based upon group interaction our information flow and relationships are strengthened. Thus at every stage the infrastructure and management of SCI are honed to facilitate this. At the end of the day however we are dealing with individuals that are free to make their own choices. There is no ôenforcementö of the ôgroup firstö policy, we just make it so advantageous that any other option would pale in comparison. At this point it is worth making mention of our ACTIVE account requirements. Every month a role is called. Any corporation member that does not respond to this role call is then requested to contact Linoth via an eve-mail within one week. Failure to do this results in expulsion from the corp. Expulsion on this basis does not need to be a permanent thing however. Upon returning an expelled SCI member needs simply to make themselves known to someone in management and they will be reinstated. We do make allowances for vacations and other special circumstances of course; the aim of this policy is to simply ensure that the roster list does not consist of dead wood.
Our recruitment does not target any particular skill point level, profession or time zone. Here at SCI we appreciate and respect whatever economic or military prowess that you bring with you. Besides this however what we mostly respect and value is the person behind the account, it is this that you are judged upon when being considered for membership with SCI. Once a recruit has joined SCI they will be respected and honoured as a member of the family, in turn SCI will insist that new recruits returned this 100%. This is probably the most strictly enforced rule that SCI has and any breach of this regulation will incur a swift, permanent and no fuss resolution!
All those that participate in SCI group activity will receive an equal share of the proceeds. We do no base the division on any other factor other than the number of people who turned out and helped. Wether someone is a CEO, Director, Officer, Full Member, Recruit or none SCI participant makes absolutely no difference to our calculations.
Southern Cross incorporated is a business entity in itÆs own right. The difference between the conventional real life business entity and SCI is the fact that no single (or group) of individuals holds an ownership title. In this sense perhaps SCI would be best described as a government organisation. As such no-one within the corporation has the right to remove ISK or capital equipment from the SCI accounts or hangers without paying reimbursement. This applies to every member of SCI, from the CEO to the newest recruits.
