A moment is just long enough for you to know that it's gone.

A moment is equal to the length of time it takes for a fully laden swallow to fly from here to there. ----- If you kill all the wolves, your gonna end up with a crapload of bunnies, and by bunnies I mean stupid people Eve & Linux Woot! |

Restarting the Eve client fixed this issue for me just now.

Well, it just said that you should try again in a moment, but not that you are able to login then.

A moment always has an end but how long until it reaches the end differs from person to person

I dunno, you could probably make it in under two furlongs per fortnight.

It depends on the type of moment.
A moment - for a fly : About 1/10 second (or less) A moment - for the evolution : A few hundred thousand years

African or European?
Patch day always brings out the same 2 types of people. 1: "I'm an IT expert in RL, and they have done this all wrong" type. 2: "I'm a paying customer, fix it immediately or I quit" type. |

A moment is a unit of time that's measurably less than a jiffy but noticably more than an instant.

As twice as long as from one end to the middle.
I heard the above question in Biology class once, and smacked my hand onto the desk and about shouted my answer out, only to look up and realise it wasn't a question she wanted an answer to. She looked a tad surprised as well, probably because that had been my only voluntary contribution in class that wasn't a guess for months.
