A moment - for a fly : About 1/10 second (or less)
A moment - for the evolution : A few hundred thousand years

I heard the above question in Biology class once, and smacked my hand onto the desk and about shouted my answer out, only to look up and realise it wasn't a question she wanted an answer to.
