Check it out! Already 1500 EVE players are using it every day!
What is it? My Ore Table isn't just another one of theese refining charts...
- It's keeping it's prices automatically up to date
- You can configure it's values as you wish and even set your own prices
- You can create a profile (no password needed) to save those values and share them with other people
- It's completely sortable - you can even sort by multiple columns at the same time
- It will show you a 7 day market history of the five major trading hubs, plus a 30 day history of the Jita prices
- It also features ice and drone alloys, including ice product prices
- It has a mining timer, which can play a sound in an interval defined by you (requires Adobe Flash - won't work in the ingame browser)
Give it a try and leave a comment, please
Thanks and fly safe! Cerlestes

Thanks for all the replies and especially all of those ideas! I'm going to consider every single one and start working on a completely reworked and improved version to come later this year. Some of the features I'm thinking of:
- No more profiles required to store settings, but: Non-profile-settings are going to be temporarily stored in the client, and thus lost after the browser tab/window is closed. If you want to save them, you will still have to create a profile.
- Gas-Mining: I've been thinking on this for a while and I'm not sure how to implement it into the current website layout, since you're already mining the final form and don't need to refine the gases into something else. But I'll further investigate.
- Embeddable Gadget for your websites: It will show the current mineral or ice product prices plus the top ore to mine.
- Formulas: You can enter formulas like you do in Excel, that access the current prices also used by the site. Those are saved in your profile and thus are permanent.
- Localisation: English, German, Russian and French. Maybe more.
- Many other features and improvements. Stay tuned!
Thanks again :)

Yeah, as I pointed out on the market trend page of the website, this happened due to some changes by EVE Central. I've already fixed that now and even improved the method of reading the prices. Formerly It used to calculate an average from the 10 lowest prices, but now it's using an average from the 10 prices around the 95th percentile of all prices, which makes it much more realistic and resistant against dumping prices.

Hey guys!
Thanks so much for the ideas posted in this thread. Let me go through them.
Quote:It would be really nice to see the volume next to ore/ice This is a great idea! I'll even add two choosable displays to the ISK column: "Value of one full ore batch" and "Value of one ore unit".
The upcoming version will enable you to choose from all regions and the top 10-ish trade hubs, which will of course include Hek and some others asked for.
Quote:A table for gas mining No. I finally made the decision not to add this, since it has nothing to do with refining. I'm working on another project tho, that will give you market-insight on gas too. (see three points below)
Quote:Market price history for last 7, 30, 90 and 180 days. The upcoming version will enable you to select these ranges, plus 360 and 720 days.
Quote:Bulk Ore Prices, that is to say un-refined Another great idea - going to be included in the upcoming version. |

Quote:Let us add our own items to observe would advanced moon materials be an option? This won't be featured in the ore charts, but I'm working on the backbone for another project that'll do exactly this job. It will constantly suck in the current market data available in the EMDR network (EVE-Central, EVE Mon), and will feature not only 95th percentile, but a wide variety of values for any given moment of every item buyable in the market in every reagion and trade hub, with not more than 5 minutes delay. Sounds awesome? It is. But it still will take a lot of time in development, since we're talking about hundreds of gigabytes of data here, which is completely new to me (and probably most other programmers) and will be a real challenge. But I'm sure you'll see a first complete version around mid-2013.
Quote:make sure the prices are accurate How about adding filtering by region ... + avg See above point. The next version will give you more control about accuracy in value and location.
Quote:Is there any documentation that would help me use the index'es for a google doc spreadsheet. I don't exactly know what you mean. If you want to embed the ore table's data into a (google) spreadsheet, I don't think it's possible.
Quote:A little typo in the Pyroxeres row. It's "Viscous" not "Vicious" pyroxeres. : ) Aww, I liked that typo. Not that I ever mine, but if I did I'd totally go for the vicious ones first. Hahaha. This made me laugh a lot. :) Thanks for spotting this hilarious typo!
Quote:These EVE tools need to be added to App store Nope. I'm working on a mobile-firendly layout for the next version - but I can't promise that. |

Quote:Could it be, you use the sell orders instead of the buy orders? Yes. Currently, the 98th percentile of the sell prices is used and shown. As mentioned, this behaviour is going to be selectable.
Quote:include the market volume This was already mentioned and will be done.
Keep the ideas coming :) I really appreciate them.
Regards, cerlestes
PS: A big shout out goes to HanFox, who created a GreaseMonkey script for the Ore Table that makes the small market history graphs appear bigger. Thank you very much for this - this feature will appear in the upcoming new version. https://userscripts.org/scripts/show/145783 |

Looks like the MySQL-server crashed tonight, but could recover, and then crashed again at 12:17 UTC. I don't know yet what was causing it, but I'll take care.
Sorry once again for any inconveniences

Sorry for those major server problems I had a few months ago! To this day I can't surely say what caused them, but I got rid of a lot of potential problems since then and currently it's running stable.
Again, sorry for any inconveniences caused by this!
Best regards and a happy new year! cerlestes |

You can create a profile by logging in with one on the top left of the page, above the logo!
I'll make that clearer in the new version, i promise! :) |

Currently all values on the site are about minerals, not the ores themselves! You will be able to show prices for each ore instead of it's minerals in the upcoming version. |

Sully O'noh wrote: But my own calculations showed something different: 171 Zydrine
Wow... so in short terms: Never trust official CCP sites to tell you the truth about ore composition. I've just tried it and verified with another source and you're right. Gneiss contains 171 Zydrine per batch or 0.086 Zydrine per m3 instead of the 0.069 displayed on my site. I've immediately changed it now, thanks for letting me know!
Just so you see how I got this number... back in 2010 when I'd built the current version of the site, I took all refining information from the EVE Wiki, like this article about Gneiss: https://wiki.eveonline.com/en/wiki/Gneiss As you can see, it shows 137 Zydrine instead of 171 Zydrine.
I'm going to recheck every ore again with different sources, just to make sure.
Thanks again! cerlestes
PS: Okay, I've found another wrong value in the official wiki. Jaspet shows as yielding 259 Pyerite, but instead yields 437 Pyerite. Changed that also and will update the Wiki, if possible. |

The changes from Odyssey have been implemented right on patch day, so everything is up to date.
KapiiKid Wait-For-It wrote:How can i get sound into the alarm?
The timer widget is something I've never really looked into improving. It originally had sounds, but due to some problems I've replaced them with the red blinking. I'll think about adding an option for sound in the upcoming version, thank you.

I'm using this API myself: http://eve-central.com/home/develop.html You should be able to use it with mentioned programs/websites as well.
