Hi,
I'm a bit concerned as to a new alliance I saw appear recently.
Curse-Alliance [CA]
Established on 2006.04.20
Our records show no description for this sovereign entity
CA consists of 1 member corporations, 1 pilots reside under its sovereignty.
Many people are very proud of what our former alliance achieved. Its existence lead to some peoples best memories of this game, and some lasting friendships have been founded from it era. However its era is passed. If someone is going to have a half baked attempt and putting it back together and defiling its name then a few people may be a bit aggrieved. I have my suspicions as to who is attempting this; few people would have the audacity to attempt this move.
Can we have some form of official statement?
Who will make up the new Curse alliance?
Where do you plan to live? HED-GP is not in Curse.
Do you feel there may be some issue in that the majority of the old member base of the real CA shooting you?
Do CCP offer a refund on misnamed alliances?

Hmm? Isnt that the name of the original alliance or am i wrong. Any attempt to resurrect CA would surely failwithout the all the original corps, and that isnt going to happen..

Yep i think i was right, that is the only "curse alliance" on the alliance page. It seems it is the old one unless the old one was removed from the alliance page

No Chowdown it is not me, I have no time to play silly boys anymore, you accuse me of theft when I only sold what I mined legally to sell, you twist things. Max did not tell me that the 100mil was a loan, i since given him 10mil back to pay it off.
I was mining to increase my wallet so I can build ships for the market, how do you buy bpos etc without isk. I was geniunely broke and you showed me no mercy, so you added 2+2=5. I also gave abukede loads of mins to help him and he was taking ages to pay me, so I needed to sell mins to sort my wallet out, after all I am an industrialist.
So no I am not creating the curse alliance, I like to be original and even I would not **** on the original curse alliance.

Working in the basement of eve is not my style now. No more dark roads for me.

but did she destroy it? what happened to the demise of CA? When I joined eve, CA were in full swing and I had to say there was some pretty invented names for corps within it. It had that special feel to it.

Chow this is a compliment to you, I have to say when you run fleet ops, I have to say you commanded well, easy to listen, ok I did not do much pvp, but I listened. I also took onboard the methods that the pvp pilots do. When it comes to fighting you have it.
The problem is that being the boss of shinra has made you become head strong and I think you spent too long in the basement.

I don't remember ever seeing you on pvp ops. Yes you suck at pvp. You also suck at logistics. Same goes for anything industry. You flaked out on any commitments, and stole from several members of the corp.

Thanks, I did answer the question. The SNRA member in question, was making a tounge in cheek joke at VOTF's expense. However VOTF have jumped on this and assumed it to be fact. As I previously stated .... wait a sec let me get some space for this:
SHINRA HAS NO INTEREST IN REFORMING CA, THE COMENT IN JITA WAS A JOKE AT XIRTS EXPENSE.
Hope that is clearer, what ahs made it it better is xirt has assumed that it was true. Furthermore has posted about it all over the forums.

before i joined shinra, i was an honest player just minding my own business, then nebba evemailed and asked me to join. So I was in two minds and said yep I give it a try. 3 months into Shinra I was shown the front door, I come out with a different game style. Glad to be back on my own again, no more late nights, apart from tonight of course.

come on nicky you are lieing, I never borrowed minerals, I was mining for myself the arkonor and bistot, i then sold them to abukede on the market in nzw, which does not show who is the buyer till it is sold. I also had my alt in a retriever mining as well. So why would i steal ore from another player when I had my own.
I did borrow a dominix from a very kind player which unfortuantly got wiped, i am working hard to give that person some isk to replace it and max if he told me he lent me the money, I would have given it back sooner.

The reason I did not commit myself was that there was not any organisation on the industry front, I was working hard to buy a freighter so that I could have helped move stuff as well, for the amount that you required would have meant for me several runs.
Your market lacked the ships that people wanted desperatly and you guys had to collect loot to pay them off, you could had organised weekly mining ops to fill the gap. You did not ask, if you did I would have organised it for you. You got loads of low ends in nzw that 2 days of mining would have helped build much needed equipment.
I know you people are pvp'ers and that is what you do best, but with the background support, you would be more successful.

Work on www.cursereuinted.com should be finsihed by the end of the day.
In the mean time, before VOTF and Xirtam started to enjoy the only limelight they still can achieve (and don't they do it in a classy manner,) my thread was trying to get to the bottom of who has created an alliance called CA. Anyway....CA..Curse alliance was before my time.
One of few regions names in game that actualy mean something else and state the location of alliance too.
However, as name was used before with quality background it would be stupid to use it agin.
And yet to say...."alliance" as a part of name is not something very creative , especialy with HUGE posibilities "CURSE" name provide

well the consistant visits to clone stations do create a need for something stronger, a crash helmet on my clones whould be nice since banging your head into the floor every time you wake up is not nice.

First, Curse should never be allowed to be ôre-createdö
It was historical and holds entity and RP.
To recreate such an alliance will just overwrite what already plays as a historical event. Whether or not anyone can agree why Curse no longer exists is a moot point.
Why Curse should never be allowed to be re-created is another.
I think the more question at hand is not IS Xirt re-creating Curse, it should be û Should CCP allow this to happen based on the historical events that surround Curse Alliance.
Trying to rewrite history has never been a good idea nor the RP of it!
CCP should take the time to think long and hard whether or not this should be allowed to take place. The respect of Curse should not be undermined by any "re-creation"
As far as why this thread never locked. I believe CCP wants to hear some good solid input on why or why not this should take place.

For your information, sir, I did read the entire thread. I just find it stupid and unneccessary how you avoid answering such a simple question. I took great pride in being part of what CA used to be and I would take it as an offense that someone attempts to reform something that is and should remain a memory.

ok lets sort this out, I have a propositon, how about creating a hybrid alliance that has has some element of old curse alliance idology, that could create a power base in the southern regions.
The southern regions has considerable wealth to mine and produce good quality items for its member base and everything that is refined by its member base a % is taken as a form of tax. No problem there. You can recruit members of the alliance to take on the responsibility of building for the market in claimed regions, this would give those who enjoy pvp, a high quality service of a fine selection of what they need.
You could even open up a small portion of the space for neutrals to use for mining and rat hunting, like BIG BLUE did, you guys can do better.
Ok if you want it as a democracy or a dictatorship, someone needs to be emperor and good structure.
Ok I am not playing funny now, I mean this and maybe I could be responsible to creating something good for you all.

There will always be the memory of CA in Eve History and along with that there will be certain characters and Corps as part of that memory.
And I have to say I am proud to be part of that Alliance although not a known member of CA to me there was always a clear role of the leaders of the Alliance.
Each of these played their role in the Alliance and even was always available to help even when stressed out after meetings.
One of these was Foyle and even if the character Foyle did not lead fleets into combat (others filled that roleand their reputation is well known) she was integral and important member of the Alliance and will always be remembered as such.
Even if she was a little grumpy sometimes

This coming from former Shinra member lord draco and also proves several things, they tried at every turn to destroy the hard work of CA from within.
Foyles knew well in advance what she was going to do with the minerals as well as shinra.

If you had read the CEO forums or been to every Alliance meeting you would know this belief to be false.
Shinra did thier own thing becuase they couldnt stand to be in gang with any VOTF members. It was romper room in gang when they were active, you know this.
Curse broke up because 2/3s of the alliance did nothing but npc and mine or get killed stupidly.
Did you not notice that nearly all of the internal disputes were between VOTF members and the rest of the alliance?
Look at what IMP is under his reign. Every major corp that was in CA is now hostile to IMP. The only ones not are those hanger on corps that follow xirt blindly around like lost dogs. Nearly everyone of them are the puppet corps that he brought into CA to help him gain his lost power back.
What was so fun about that last month? We lost more fleet battles during that month long period then we ever did the entire time I was in CA.
tbfh without Eternal dark leading them, VOTF couldnt find the jump gate. Atleast he can count the number of cans in space after a fleet battle.

Aneu was going to be made KOS to the entire alliance due to his forum retardedness Xirt being a stubborn fool threatened to quit the alliance if the decision went against him which it did and VOTF left. The WOW excuse. Xirtam thought he would take his merry band and go play WOW and CA would be begging for his return. Upon his return we would sacrifice Foyle and build a new alter to him in HLW.

I was an active member of VOTF during all the mining ops and fleet battles. Too bad for him CA was fine, if not better when he was gone. Atleast he wasnt starting more wars he couldnt/wouldnt fight, based on the always wrong 'intel' he would try to pass off as facts.

I remember the last time we all went down to FA space (I think it was FA)- this had been previously planned a week prior.
When it came time to leave, Xirt wouldn't let any of his kids come play, they were ordered to stay and mine. Eternal dark basically told him to f*** off and came with us, but the other kids werent allowed to join in the reindeer games until they were done fluffing up Xirts mineral wallet. 4 days later he showed up, and then logged off for a week because nothing was being done his way
