Since most of old-school SNRA and M. pvpers left to ATUK - it was something, preventing LV space from intruders.

Only two fellas ever left M.Corp for ATUK, one of them doesn't seem to play EVE anymore after he bought his way into high skillpoints and the other one kinda spooked us all out on TS anyway... (sorry Darcuese)
Oh there was one other dude that wanted to join ATUK on the very day they disbanded, and he only wanted to go there to shoot a different type of NPC anyway so we saved him a trip and killed him. (a brutal and nasty affair)
None of the above I would consider "old school" Just standard corp floaters.

i like shinra and the other LV chaps.
i may be the only person in the whole ******* universe to think that, but they are like BoB lite - they rock up, fight well, and (with a few notable exceptions) don't smack.
i'd rather fight LV than some half arsed bunch of wannabes any day of the week.
no skills, just luck.

Btw...one thing I like to state from my point of view regarding UKC.
I have noticed some might not like them and some sarcasam was involved even.
UKC came to 0.0 (cache) as mining / industrial corp.
They came first as sponsored corp. They never pretended to be PvP corp as some CEO's liked to brag (sorry Velios).
UKC had bad timing however (not their fault). They came to Cache just when that POS war strated between 5 (Mcorp/Shinra mostly) and RA.
So, they couldnt do what they came for to Cache (earning money). They didnt whine however at all why 5 (Mcorp) couldnt secure their income.
After Cache they willingly follow 5 to Curse (again their primary thing was mining/industrial).
During all that time they assist in 5 (Mcorp mostly) gangs all the time more or less.
I havent heard much whining from them ever.
Creating of LV made our path split...and i dont know how the situation were developing after.
But till then they were what they said they are...mining and industrial corp mostly willing to help whenever is possible.

UKC have a massive capital ship fleet, with 23 carriers, 34 Dreads, 9 Motherships and one of each Titan!!!.....can only be devs
I heard they fly tier 3 BS and have tech 3 guns!....devs!
Each player in UKC has 100 Billion isk and 47 Charisma ....umm rich charming devs!
Seems pretty clear to me! I hope LV can continue to keep them in check or we are all in big trouble!
