My guess would be that there is more to Eve than isk. Your so-named slave corps are likely benefiting from 0.0 access and exposure to aspects of the game that they get enjoyment out of and hardly view themselves as slaves.
Here's a couple of examples:
Corp A is middling in size and is made up of people who enjoy fighting, they can't be bothered to mine and, other than some ratting to supply them with income, they are not fussed about access to high rated complexes and suchlike, in fact money doesn't really matter much to them at all beyond buying modules and ships.
My suspicion is that Corp A would happily join any alliance that offered them fleet battles and combat and wouldn't be bothered at all by a requirement that they turn up in fleets (hell, they want to!) or miss access to resources they don't really want access to - they wouldn't be slave, they'd be enjoying the game, doing what they like to do.
Corp B on the other hand are hardcore miners (I am told that they exist) and for them, the mere access to 0.0 mining makes them go weak at their knees. They don't care about passing a proportion of their haul to someone controlling an area as long as they can sink their mining lasers into those nice Crokite roids.
I am guessing that Corp B would sell their own mothers' souls to get access to the ore that they covet so much and they would view any alliance that gave them that access as a godsend. Hardly slaves and they might even wear a badge of "mining....(ah well the word would get censored anyway!)" with some hidden pride.
My whole point is that there are plenty of corps who can fulfill exactly what they want to be doing in the game under a restrictive and tightly controlled alliance. I am sure there are other corps that couldn't and they need not apply.
As for your own case, if I were you, I'd either persuade your corp to find an alliance that better suits it, or if it turns out your own views are not allied with your corpmates' then perhaps find another corp.
I don't believe there is such a thing as a slave corp because corps forced to do what they don't want to will leave. There are simply corps filling niches that suit their style of play and what they want to get out of the game.
