Exuro Mortis has declared war on The New Order.
That's the fifth war this month. Four different sets of mercenaries, And this time, it's an entire alliance versus a single, small, industrial corp. We've managed to fend for ourselves so far, but the damage is leaking through our hulls to our spirits. We can make more munitions, but it's much harder to build morale in the face of odds that rachet up against us like this, to be so overwhelming. One of the reasons is that we don't know who we're really fighting.
Strange, isn't it? Every merc we've spoken to so far has made reference to a mysterious client with unrealistic extortionate demands centering around our starbase. They say they too are in the dark as to the true identity of the client, or what offence we have given them.
I doubt extortion or "empire piracy" is the real motive. It would surely be more profitable to roam belts for a few hours ransoming victims than to hire multiple corps of mercenaries camp stations for days. This feels more personal than that. It has escalated as far as the (brief) deployment of a Dreadnaught against our starbase, clearly intended more as a tactical manouver to draw out a paniced fleet than a serious attack. That can't be cheap.
The other possibility is that somewhere there is a smoky room in which our name is being passed round on a list of possible Empire targets. If so, there must be other corps on the list. Perhaps they would be interested in collaborating with us?
We want to bring the war to a swift, decisive and above all final conclusion. We are willing to negotiate, but only to the true face of our agressor. No surrender to faceless cowards.
Serious advice and offers of combat assistence, alliance membership or intelligence gratefully recieved. Frankly, I'd rather fight in 0.0, if it were our home territory.

My advice. Get out of empire. My corp got WD 1-3 times per week. The reason were every possible one from our placement of goods on the market to target practice for thier noobs. we tried to be diplomatic, and to be fighters but it wasnt going to work. to many ****s. When you negotiate peace with one, they tell the next pirate corp you are easy targets and they fill the void.
We moved 25 jumps away. Then we joined an alliance and moved another 50 jumps away deeeeeeep into 0.0. It worked. I engage the enemy when I want to now, I mine and rat better resources, and am involved in a good alliance with lots of oppurtunities.
We had to pay a little chunk of change to get in because we were(still are) noobs but it was worth it. Only other advice is if you join an alliance make sure there are no mining quotas.

And in 0.0 your alliance mates and other friendlies can shoot at ppl comming to attack you without CONCORD getting involved. Even pirates camping the routes to 0.0 will do you the favor of ganking some of them :)
In many respects 0.0 is actually safer and calmer than empire, especially if you are in a well organized alliance.
I live in 0.0 and sometimes there are weeks between bad ppl comming... and when they do 100 ppl go looking for them just for the fun of it :P

I would have thought that the annonymous corp that is paying many merc corps to WD us must be doing it for another reason that it is easy. Doesn't matter how easy it is, you don't just throw ISK away just to make life hard for a random corp.
We know that these things happen in Eve, that will never change, but we would like to know the identity of the corp that is funding the multiple wars against us

Are you sure there is anyone funding the wars? Merc corps have been known to pick an easy target and claim that they've been 'contracted' against them, in order to establish themselves in the field.
Plus, there's always the outside chance that some of the corps are simply making an excuse in order to look less lame.
Edit: Five wars does seem to be a lot, though. I guess I shouldn't try to convince you guys not to be paranoid.

When 1 corp isn't succeeding, their retraction is very quickly followed by the next corps WD, too quick to be coincidence, and we get the same story from each one.

Well the claims are that we are to remove 2 ofour POS's and surrender them to the "client" (someone not talking to mercs unless he uses an alt) (wuzz) and surrender our spot to him as well.
This is an official statement from the new order : Quote:

Whoever is such a coward and wants to spend so much isk on us is a complete coward and has already spent more isk on hiring the mercs, than it would have cost him to buy himself a brand new POS and fuel for some weeks.

I've seen you guys in the area and the ECP boys blobbing you , as i said in local , some people just pick the easy targets , some people call themselves mercs and hide behind it when infact they are just pirates simply , but all the war decs you have been having i'd say that most of the war decs are for a bigger reason than being easy targets .
And while i'm at it what do you guys have in Yong that is so special ? the amount of firepower them guys brought to kill a max of 4 docked ships was quite sickening

Thats the point of our confusion, the moon is next to worthless, producing simple reactions.
It would have saved a lot of time and isk for the alleged client to have approached us and asked for a deal on the products or bought our moon spot off us. Instead he/she has spend well over 1 bil isk already and prolly more.
The war decs now number a total of 6, with the first 3 retracted. Ideally, we would like the client to come forward if he exists and talk to us either as him main or through an alt.

Pay the mercs a lower general defense payment not to take contracts under those terms from that person. Meaning, they find out who they are dealing with. IM suprised mercs actually accepted a contract like that. Rule 1 when doing contracts is to KNOW who your dealing with. Never want to get in over your head. anyways, if you can get a couple general low paying contracts to a merc corp or two. To come to your defense, when attacked. Or pay them outright to protect you.
Sounds like you need to do something... Get something to make people think twice about attacking you.

Mercs, by contract, do not disclose who retained them unless they are told to do so. It would be the end of their business if they did. So all the boo hooing isn't going to change your lack of knowledge about who hired them.
You have given terms, they are very clear:

you have some good fighters in your corp and you have seen off the merc's so far but now you need to move you corp to 0.0 and learn how to work as a team .even your miners can jump in to a frig and come and help .time will tell and you boys can kick ass
