I had such high hopes..
Why do I take the constant pain?
Miner 2 Serious screwup. Was it corrected.. like adding it to the market after more than a months waiting? No it wasn't
LAAAAAGYY battles The biggest feature of it all. The reason why I WANT to play this game Is it dealt with? No. NO NO NO
Screw me over BP cut to a tenthTorp/Cruise misslie bp.. Dunno, I just felt like I lost ~20mill I like to slack and not work. That is a lot of money for me
Baby Roid bug!? Fixed? NO
A lot of other BS problems that continues to annoy .
I want to PLAY this game. Not fear that certain bugs should hit me and I'll loose hardworked stuff. (CTD?? A friend of mine has lost two battleships to CTD. All he had!)
Not fear that the next "patch" will flip the world over
Am I in a bad mood today? Yes, you can bet on that
But this feeling has continued to grow in me
I do not feel SAFE when playing this game. You never know whats going to hit you next. And everything thats going to hit you next are things you have absolutely no controle over.
I want to waste my time playing a game NOT get headaches

Edited by: Zodiac Laserstorm on 18/09/2003 16:32:08 ... so which coin side came up?
Sorry for the sarcasem, but you said several times now you don't want to play... so why DO you pay for it, perhaps that should be the question you ask yourself; hm?
*Edit: Hmm, shaky hands, need more coffee

I grow tired of thinking that it is actually a patch. I mean I must really be stupid to believe. Oh, this patch will not break anything.
Patches are supposed to fix things right? No break them?
*shrugs*
Once my **** o meter is full I will cancel the subscription...
Almost there...

Perhaps its a question we should all ask ourselves. Some people that had very positive answers to that very question are now asking themselves that same question again and again.
Addicts can continuosly come up with excuses. Some just can't help themselves no matter how bad whatever they are addicted to is. Homeworld '2' is now in open release and on the market. I wonder how many EVE addicts will soon be switching their drug of choice. An awful lot came here from Homeworld hoping it would be the same type of game only in a perpetual world. A MMRTSOG so to speak. I think many will return.

Your one of these people who reakon everyone should have access to every bp and item. Thats just stupid, CCP intended some bps to be limited so corps would get a monopoly. How will a market work if everyone can get an itme. The people who got the Miner2 Bp fought the joves for it, and so earned it. Quit ya whining, it pathetic.

That statement would have far better impact coming from someone NOT in posession of a Miner II print.
I can't help but wonder what your stance would be if you didn't have one.

Its still in the air. And no, if I didn't want to play I wouldn't pay for it. Would I?

Ohh my god.. that was a stupid statement for a long time. What in the title of the thread
"Coinflip feeling *person sensitive to whining, do not click*"
Was unclear or easly misunderstood. Talk to me man.. I'm hear to help you. Not argue with you.
But sure. For the discussion. Name one market hurricane BP that was intentionally placed as a monopoly? Just one more except M2. But hey.. if you are correct. That CCP wanted this. Then I have one more reson to doubt the developement of the game. I feel REALLY sorry for those who see and play this game in a competitive manner. I don't, so it hasn't affected me. But I have followed the M2 developement and my eyebrow has raised further and further...
Think before you post and I might take you seriously next time
My real point was not what you have focused on in my post.
My real point was:
I actually FEAR every Patch. I actually feel a bit worried about some bugs every time I play. Bugs that could potentionally harm me a lot without me having any controle what so ever.

You are not serious right? competition is necessary towards a healthy economy.

If you have a miner 2 BP you're doing great. If you dont, the corps around you that do are becoming so rich you simply cant compete.
Anyone who thinks there is an arguement against this simple fact is a f*cking moron. Get a clue.

Edited by: Red Six on 18/09/2003 18:23:52 Edited by: Red Six on 18/09/2003 17:57:25 Been playing for close to three months now and it's a good thing I'm taking a business trip next week. If this isn't fixed by the time I'm back, I'm cancelling the account.
I really want to play this game but in it's current state it's unplayable. How am I supposed to go find a PVP fight or hell for that matter an NPC fight when every few minutes it crashes.
I understand latency issues that I have, I'm a network engineer and live in California. Any connection to a server in Europe is going to see some latency issues on occasion and I'm not worried about those, although those that abuse them for tactical advantage stink.
I enjoy the NPC hunts and working on getting better in both player and avatar skill. I was looking forward to attempting some PC Pirate hunting here shortly but no way will I try now. I'm not even going to undock today and probably tomorrow.

Happy, I dont have a miner 2 bp so lets not play this argument anymore cause he was exactly right. I get so tired of this argument. I dont have any miner 2's, nor did I fight the Joves for the bp for it.
But not having it, you know what that makes me want to do, get money to buy one, just like it should be. Every corp doesnt need every bp, if they did, what would be the purpose of making isk, what would you do with it....heres what...

Unfortunately, at least for me, HW2 demo didnt make it, felt like playing the HW1 all over again, if it was kind of different with new fresh ideas I would had quit EVE already. I quess coin might have flipped for me and showed that EVE is the loser, if I dont find anythink improving in less than a month im a goner.
