We still have the Minmatar+Caldari combination for pirate faction ships unused. If we do get another set of ships introduced, which faction would use them, and what could their bonuses be?
I was thinking Syndicate, and having a pirate version of E-War ships. |

Of the existing factions I believe it would make the most sense for CCP to release ships from Mordu's Legion.
1). Caldari/Minmatar bonuses (the only ones that aren't represented so far) would make a fair amount of sense for Mordu's Legion, since they are a mercenary faction originating from Caldari loyalists and they could very well have purchased technology and designs from Minmatar suppliers now that they are independent.
2). The current Mordu ships in game do not have unique models, but they primarily use missiles and none of the faction ships that already exist have missile bonuses (other than range).
3). The are probably the most recognizable factions that does not have flyable ships. |

Why would that be syndicate? Mordu's legion already have faction ECM and ECM boosting implants, wouldn't they be a better fit for ECM ships?
And the obvious answer is EoM. |

I agree. Although new (unique) hulls would be slick, I'd be content with some existing (skinned) hulls initially.

If they were to release new faction ships and they happen to be Mordu's Legion, I suspect we would see new models to accompany the new ships, and a bit of fiction fluff about the Legion starting to produce new models based on technology it has acquired from Minmatar mercenaries, or something along those lines. |
