logged in today just to check skills over lunch, and landed right in the middle of an angry carebear smaking a few -V- alliance guys, so i joined the fray, as i didnt have time for an actual fight, the verbal "battle" was on!
some of this lads remarks were just plain funny, and rather than posting the chat log, here a few moments that made me blow coke thru my nose.
to start with, he attempts to teach us how to spell pvp, by doing it wrong

next up came the 'Joria Klex' definition of pvp, a common carebear misconception is that this man speaks the truth.

here he was obviously refering to PVP as being combat related only, and somehow by stating what the letters of the acronym mean proves him right... about whatever point he was trying to make, so i thought i'd clue him in as to what pvp in eve is really about. this just got me a lil more static.
Saimon > Joria - PVP isn't just about combat, you "dolt" it's about the interaction between players in all aspects of the game from trade to manufacturing, control of space AND combat.

as we see here, knowing about the game now makes me geeky, but him knowing about the games makes him supercool.

Joria Klex > matter of fact in about an hour im gunna get off here, waltz down over to the club drink and get drunk and go see my RL friends
after a few questions he quickly gets off the 'i'm a hard core marine' line as he knows nothing in this area, forgets about getting drunk and returns to showing how awsome his pod is at warping away from people at 100km.
I know anyone that camps 0.0, or any low sec gates prolly gets this kind of abuse all day, but i generally just warp away and let them get on with it. but its quite funny to get involved and let them dig their hole ^^ think I'll spend more time out in 0.0 if it's this amusing.
