This is like people that call you on a phone asking if you like your current toilet cleaner. Why oh why would anyone put this in their bio? Money is for poor people

It is an indication of their status within their corp. Someone important or high up will have more access. Maybe that can be of use when prioritising targets to disrupt the corporation's workings? Well to be fair, you are asked when you visit the site if you want to release the information. I agree that it isn't a great situation and most are unaware of just how much information is sent.
