The skill description is less than useless. Do I need anchoring at higher levels to use large containers or several containers or leave them there for longer or what?
Also as a side question. are huge and giant secure containers working now? I heard they didn't actually have passwords before.
Thanks for any help you can give.

My guess is higher levels are needed for anchoring larger structures, later on in the game. But you're right, the description needs some additional info.

Yes level 1 means you can anchor sentrys level 3 is needed for Mobile refinerys and level 5 is used to anchor a station I THINK. THe first two are correct so far.

Anchoring sentiries also require the Chief Tactical Officer skill.

Not sure what the skill does past level one. Some people who played with it on chaos said it reduces the time needed to anchor, but I cant' confirm that. Level one is sufficient to anchor giant containers and they are working now. I had anchored a few then made an alt to test e'm and the password system worked.
One thing that I did have an issue with is that Secure containers can't be deployed within 5k of anyother solid object including other secure containers, was this an issue before? I got the impression it wasn't. Makes for setting up good mining ops a pain.

You only get told you cna't put the secur econtainers in place if you use the "launch for.." option. If you jettison them as normal then anchor them it still works and you can still create nice little nests of containers to mine into.
This might not have been intended though so don't blame me if it dissappers in a patch.
