hello,
in this mission, you have to defeat a drone silo to get a mission item. the deadspace is filled with drones, and three drone sentries. problem i'm having, is the area where the silo is, is surrounded by a blueish sphere, kind of like a force field.
when i try to fly through it, its like flying into an asteroid. speed descreases and the ship turns around as if its trying to find a new way in. all the while being blasted by the three tower sentries.
anyone know what you have to do here to get in?

shoot the "bluish sphere" until it goes "pop". Once you destroy the force field, you can get in.

I had this mission just the other night .. apartfrom having to warp out / warp in whilst I was killing the sentries it was fairly easy.
I'm not sure if yours was the same but I was able to fly around and kill the silo without having to pass through the blue sphere. I must have flown a long way down chasing/fleeing from npc drones because I was then able to fly around/up past the sphere. I subsequently killed the sphere anyway to see if it dropped any loot but nothing.

Enyo-> fly towards the EM feild->blow it up->blow up silo->pick up 'special delivery'->warp home  . Takes about 5 mins heh

What kind of tank / ship is required to blow up the field generator and the silo and take the stuff ignoring all the drones and sentries?

I use a ferox,
EM field (blue sphere) has almost all of its hit points in the shield once that is down it is as good as dead, alternativly if you pop the drone hive before the EM field the loot can will be pushed out of the sphere so you can collect it.
500K is just an extra, as with all rogue drone missions the value is in the complex alloys they drop as loot, try selling or refining them, then you will find the real value
