As the title says i'm looking to do some exploration, anomalies, ghosts sites etc, whatever i run to. So i would like to have advice on what ship to have to do it solo (pref sth amarr). As far as i understand i still need to fit probes to scan sites even after rubicon, so my usual mission running apoc wouldn't be good. I've heard t3 ships are good, but they are overall bit expensive to buy and fit correctly. |

You want to use a T2 cruiser if you have the skills, else a faction cruiser. You might also want a battlecruiser or battleship, for doing escalations, but that is not required.
Make sure you have analyzers and explosive resist mods in the cargohold, you'll need it for ghost and other hackable sites. I'm a relatively respectable citizen. Multiple felon perhaps, but certainly not dangerous. |

As i understand i would need to fly around some before finding anomalies so i would prefer only one verstile ship so i wouldnt need to backtrack to much to get another. Which T2 crusier? Would zealot fitted with probe launcher be enough for anything i can encounter in hisec? Also is hisec exploration worth the efort or should i just stick with lvl4-5 missions or cosmos? |

Gila, Ishtar, Cerberus, Sacrilege are all good, but most people don't bother with hacking and only do combat sites. Gnosis is OK, too. Basically, as much DPS as possible. Stratios seems to the best option if you are really into the mini game. |

Just put a probe launcher on your combat ship, with 3 points in scanning you should be able to scan all hi-sec sites, with the exception of 1-2 hackable sites.
Zealot or Omen Navy Issue are probably the ship i would give a try.
How much you make from exploration is hard to say, it depends a lot on luck. I've 2-3 times make 1B in a couple of hours in hi-sec, but i have also trying making 50M for a full weeks work. I'm a relatively respectable citizen. Multiple felon perhaps, but certainly not dangerous. |

Depending on what NPCs you will encounter, you want to choose a ship that has a resist and damage profile that is appropriate. Furthermore you have to take into account the different EWAR used by different NPC factions in your choice of ship and fit.
I'm at that juncture myself atm, and unsure whether for Angel sites if II would be better off skilling into a Sacrilege (with a good resist profile, but ****** (?) missiles), or just going ahead into a Vagabond (poor resist profile, but good Arty dmg).
I dont mean to hijack your thread, but if someone has some advice on that choice Id appreciate it as an addendum to whatever you are answering to OP. |

I'm already skilled quite far into amarr/energy weapon/armor tanking, so i think i would look around amarr space for exploration. Also is Sacrilege better for it than Zealot? I gues missiles on it gives me more versatility in choosing dmg type, but as i said i'm fully skilled in energy weapons so wouldn't i do more dmg with them than with faction launchers if i fly around amarr space and encounter amarr rats? |

If you pick energy weapons, you want to explorer in blood raider or sansha space. I'm a relatively respectable citizen. Multiple felon perhaps, but certainly not dangerous. |

Sacrilege has a utility high slot for a probe launcher, the Zealot does not. It is also more flexible with mid slots. High sec exploration has become extremely popular and it is all about putting the most damage on the overseer in the shortest amount of time. Refitting takes time.
Go for a Navy Omen if you want a laser boat. It has a utility high and a drone bay. The Zealot's T2 resist won't do you much good in Amarr space anyway. |

Hmm Sacrilege looks interesting, and i thought about missile warfare some time ago, just for a change. but skilling t2 launchers gonna take some time, and from what i've played around in eft i would do less dmg with meta4 launchers. As for zealot instead of navy omen, the thing is i already got one, would just nedd to refit it from pvp so that way i could save a little money
So far i played around with sth i found and came up with those t2o, are they any good? Sacrilege Zealot |

If you have the money Stratios is great (around 300M at the moment for the hull).
Yes it's a bit of an overkill for high-sec but it has the abundance of slots so you can fit everything you could possibly need plus a nice omni tank and a buffer for ghost sites. It also has great scanning and hacking bonuses for exploration which will save you tons of time in the long run. The covops cloak also gives you additional safety when traveling. |

You put quite a burden on that Zealot with your choice of guns. |

I would go for something like this. The plate and anti-explosive rig is the buffer for ghost site explosion and you can just rep up after. The explosion seems to be around 5-10k explosive damage and you will get another 1-2k damage from rats before they warp away.
[Stratios, Exploration] 1600mm Reinforced Steel Plates II Nanofiber Internal Structure II Drone Damage Amplifier II Medium Armor Repairer II Damage Control II
Cargo Scanner II Relic Analyzer II Data Analyzer II 10MN Microwarpdrive II Scan Rangefinding Array II / Omnidirectional Tracking Link II
Small Remote Armor Repairer II Focused Medium Pulse Laser II, Multifrequency M Focused Medium Pulse Laser II, Multifrequency M Covert Ops Cloaking Device II Sisters Core Probe Launcher, Sisters Core Scanner Probe
Medium Drone Speed Augmentor II Medium Gravity Capacitor Upgrade I Medium Anti-Explosive Pump II
Garde II x4
If you MWD away some distance Gardes will pop everything in seconds. Keep in mind you have 400m3 of drone bay to work with, do take a bunch of T2 lights since high sec is 95% frigates. In some DED sites you can't use MWD so you just kill what you can with Gardes and then use lights to clean up. |

Sentry drones don't have any travel time before they can apply dps, making them better in most situations.
[Stratios, Exploration] Medium Armor Repairer II Armor Thermic Hardener II Armor EM Hardener II Drone Damage Amplifier II Drone Damage Amplifier II
10MN Afterburner II Cap Recharger II Cap Recharger II Omnidirectional Tracking Link II Omnidirectional Tracking Link II
Heavy Beam Laser II, Multifrequency M Heavy Beam Laser II, Multifrequency M Heavy Beam Laser II, Multifrequency M Heavy Beam Laser II, Multifrequency M Core Probe Launcher I, Core Scanner Probe I
Medium Sentry Damage Augmentor I Medium Capacitor Control Circuit I Medium Drone Scope Chip I
Garde II x4 Curator II x4 Ogre II x4 Hammerhead II x5 Hobgoblin II x5
720 DPS with 4 guns, 640 DPS with 2 guns.
Cap stable if you turn off AB and 2 guns, you will need to replace the 2 omni links for analyzers as needed, you also need to swap with resist mods for explosive when doing ghost sites.

Thank you all for your advices. For now i'm experimenting with fit more toward gun dmg,but a lot of sansha i encounter yue tracking disruptors, so i think i'll change for one of your more drone-focused builds. |
