There are toons with 130-150m sp with pure subcap skills..and yeah If I'm gonna spend 100b I'm sure the toon will have cap skills as well..but I don't need 119m sp toon with a lot of capital skills..not saying its a bad char but just ain't for me |

Tactical shield manip V is actually worse than IV, you want armour bleed to keep the shield regen/second up. Shield comps only work on passive hards and even with them maxed out they're still worse than active hards so basically they only impact modules nobody in their right mind would ever choose to use.
As for missiles, they're in a horrible, horrible place in the current meta. One day I'll train them when I have literally nothing else to train but since the RLM nerf there's not a single type of missile worth a damn in PvP. |

You're claiming every subcap skill is maxed.
HORRIBLE missile skills
You need quite a lot of training in electronic systems
What about gunnery specializations? I'd need like a month to train them all to lvl 4
Navigation skills, not perfect either
No shield compensations, a lot of waste in science tc.
To sum it up, there's a lot of toons better than yours on the market, I'd say almost every toon in this thread is better than yours, sorry but I'm not interested. And missiles are pretty good imo. |

I understand that you don't want it and that's fine and at this point I'm just arguing the principle but you really think no shield compensations is a bad thing? Have you looked at what those skills actually do? Unless CCP actually make them worthwhile it's a good thing. |

They might save your life when you're neuted :) and yeh who uses passive shield tank these days, I'm not really planning to do lvl 5 missions but I dont think they're completely useless. |
