Hi. i never really got into missions at all, and at lvl 1 missions and my higher skills its just not all that fun to keep going back and forth doing exact same thing over and over and over again for a reward of 25k isk wen i can be in .0 making 1.5m a ship. So what are the rewards like for lvl 3-4 missions, and how long will it take me to get there? thanks :)

Edited by: Topodo on 03/05/2006 00:31:50 Level 3 missions usually run about 1.5-2 mil per hour (bounties and rewards), not counting loot.
Level 4 missions can net you from 3 mil to 20 mil an hour at the extremes.
How long it takes to get to those level agents purely depends on your playtime. You can speed it up by raising up your Social and Connections skills. Expect to spend at least a couple months working your way up to level 4's, unless you play a lot every day.

i average around 10-14mil an hour on L4 missions although some missions can be alot more profitable like infiltrated outposts where u get around 27-30mil of minerals and i can do that mission in around 30-45mins.
taking LP into account you can make a small fortune fairly rapidly.

Well as an example i left gallente navy and went to a 0.1 system with good lv2/3/4 agents (had 0.0 standing with the corp itself but 4 with gallente as a whole so i could start at lv2). With lv3 in a few social skills i was able to get enough standing with that corp to run level 3's (ie 0.0->5.0ish i think it was) in about 12 hours (over two days) and lv4's *very* soon after that although i wasnt able to handle them at the time.
Im still hating those lv2's with a vengeance though

Had terrible standing with Caldari so trained up diplomacy so I could actually use their agents.
Took me 3-4 days to get lvl 4 missions in a hac doing missions and story lines.
was doing 20-30 lvl 1 missions an hour, yes it was tedious. -----------------------------------------------

You'll probably need standing of about 6.0 with a corp to start doing level 4 missions for them.

I did it in about 2 and a half weeks, playing about 3 hours a weeknight. From 0.0 standing to 6.0. Train social and connections to 4. After that, the secret is to find stations with more then 1 agent that you can do in it. Run 2 or 3 missions at a time, only kill missions and short/small cargo haul missions, and do every storyline mission you get offered. As soon as you can upgrade your agent(s) do it, but don't sacrifice the multipal agents in a station thing.
Use the Eve Explorer to find stations with multipal comptable agents, it's a great tool.
Money wise it's not so great, in the 2 weeks or so I spent working up to lvl 4 (not actually doin't lvl 4 missions though) I made a little under 100 million. Enough to buy the BS you need to do the lvl 4 missions so that's something I guess...
Oh, and get an assault frig, you can power thru lvl 1 and 2 missions like nobodies business with them! They work great for most lvl 3's as well (unless there's a lot of webbers, then you're boned).
