I would like to cast a vote for the humble Pilgrim.
Model size of 30-40cm would be OK.
A kit to assemble the model would be the best. Maybe even some custom paints so we can replicate the colors as close as possible (especially that red gold sheen)? |

Myrmidon, unpainted self-assembly kit, sold with custom paints.
Now that I'm thinking about it, CCP can easily turn a few hulls into a lot of models if they sold custom paints with them:
A Pilgrim can also be a Curse and an Arbitrator, a Myrmidon can be an Eos and so on. Multiple stones striking multiple targets! |

Providence
Unpainted, assembly kit and custom paints, so you can decide for yourself between two paint job variations: Providence and Ark.
And since freighters tend to be rather large, the finished model should be something between 40-50cm. |

The Leviathan would also be great as a model.
(I would have preferred the Erebus actually, but I fear that ship as a model would be rather top-heavy. Losing an expensive model because it keeps falling of my shelf would be really stupid.) |

Anything with faction paint. Maybe consider doing the same thing as last time... the "standard" versions, and the "faction" versions... hopefully without the huge price difference this time!
This post makes me interested in a tally of how many people want self-built models, in contrast to how many want a pre-assembled model.
I for example would prefer self-build, self-painted models, but I understand not everyone likes working for a good-looking model. |

There are a lot of ships mentioned, looking at the numbers it-¦s interesting to see how spread out the interest is. Still, a few are at the top, in descending order:
Rifter Nyx-á Hel-á Megathron Hyperion Machariel Abaddon Scorpion Tengu Thorax
But right after those, ships like Legion, Naglfar, Hurricane, Maller, Merlin, Naga come in strong. We hope to be able to make some announcements at Fanfest, but again, it will take some time to get these in your hands, due to the nature of manufacturing physical products.
We may not start with the Rifter, even if it's at the top. We'll also be looking at what ships lend themselves best to being modelled, what ships have been recently renovated and other factors. The more recently renovated ships exist in more detail in our source model library, and thus are easier to convert into physical models than the older ones.
Still, there is obviously interest in word. Now we must make a few, see how they sell and take it from there!
Why on earth are the moa and bantam not on here? Does caldari get no love at all? Do we want the moa to continue making little space children scream and run away in fear and disgust? It literally makes me nauseous looking at it.
And so we should make a model of it? Do you want Eve to die? What do you think will happen if people suddenly can see the abomination outside of the game?
A model of the Caracal would be better. And it's Caldari, too!

It would be interesting to see what the Artists think that these 1st Generation Titans look like...
Then I would like a model of the Jovian mothership. The true first Titan. |

Well, then call it the proto-titan. It's a giant-ass ship, it has a doomsday-weapon, it's a titan in all but name. Also I think it still exists, since it was never destroyed or dismantled. |

I've forgotten if I already suggested it, but a Redeemer would be nice to have. Bonus points if the model can be assembled, painted and comes with drones and a large base, so I can add everything together for maximum effect. |

DrysonBennington wrote:Why not add an animation to all ships where you can see the shadows of crew members moving around inside of the windows?
I'm not entirely sure what would be worse: Your idea applied to actual models (How should that even work? Shadowpuppets, powered by batteries?) or applied to the game. Most ships are large enough you wouldn't ever see those shadows, since you can't zoom in enough.
But in other news: Page 38, still people post without noticing the thread is about the kind of model you have on your shelf, not the immaterial kind made of pixels. |
