Test was an alliance that made possible for everyone and their dog that famous said of: green kill boards for all. Now brave newbies are going to replace them. Poor lost souls still think that one plays eve for fun, it doesn't matter if you die. They will eventually learn.

The OP may as well have asked, "Who was BoB and how did they fall?" There would be the ascension (using the word loosely) of Goonwaffle, invention of TEST Alliance, Please Ignore, along with a handful of other one-hit wonders of the time. The last chapter would then be "How Did All The Rentals Appear?" Just before that chapter we could sing "Where Have All The Russians Gone?" The story has all the drama of plate tectonics, including two notable earthquakes complete with tsunamis.

Test's biggest problem was that they did not have enough CCP support, they did have some CSM representation but not enough to keep them going as a large scale null entity.

Apparently in the long time that I was gone there was this alliance called TEST that people often mention. Who were they?

After we destroyed a gate camp there were some people typing in local::

"TEST is BEST"

So I asked my corp what it meant, and they told me that TEST was once a large alliance.

Basically we were batman, they were robin. Then robin pulled out a gun figuring they could be the new batman if they killed him and took the cape only we were wearing bulletproof armor and we beat the hell out of robin and now we hang out with batgirl but not the crippled one sally gordun or whatever but the hot silent one.

Strange memories on this nervous night in 6VDT-H. Six months later? Eight? It seems like a lifetime, or at least a Main EraGÇöthe kind of peak that never comes again. Fountain and Delve in mid-late-2013 was a very special time and place to be a part of. Maybe it meant something. Maybe not, in the long run . . . but no explanation, no mix of words or killboards or memories can touch that sense of knowing that you were there and alive in that corner of time and the eve universe. Whatever it meant. . . .

History is hard to know, because of all the hired bullshit, but even without being sure of GÇ£historyGÇ¥ it seems entirely reasonable to think that every now and then the energy of a whole alliance comes to a head in a long fine flash, for reasons that nobody really understands at the timeGÇöand which never explain, in retrospect, what actually happened.

My central memory of that time seems to hang on one or five or maybe forty nightsGÇöor very early mornings GÇö when I left hi-sec half-crazy and, instead of going home. . . booming through the warp tunnel at the lights of Delve and Fountain, not quite sure which gate to take when I got to the other end . . . but being absolutely certain that no matter which way I went I would come to a place where people were just as high and wild as I was: No doubt at all about that. . . .

There was madness in any direction, at any hour. If not in Delve, then Fountain or Pure Blind. . . . You could strike sparks anywhere. There was a fantastic universal sense that whatever we were doing was right, that we were winning. . . .
