I just heard that this years fanfest might be taking place in November as opposed to October when it usually takes place. I think CCP are hoping that it will prove less expensive for people to get accomidation as it wont clash with the Iceland Airwaves Music Festival that takes place in October. The Fanfest is obviously the main reason why i go to Iceland but certainly the Airwaves Msic Festival is a big reason.
Personally if the fest is in November id be more tempted to go to a local event (london etc) as it will be cheaper and probably offer all the EVE talk i would want.
Any thoughts people?
(sorry for lousy spelling, but im tired)

Yes the point is to make it less impossible (during iceland airwaves hotel rooms are stuffed) and less expensive for foreigners to get a hotelroom and come to the fanfest.
It might be cold if our silly ccp people delay the fanfest longer than like 1 week after Iceland Airwaves but hey, you'll be inside for 90% of the time anyway

would be nice to hear the date soon. I have to plan the days off at my work and how later i get some dates the smaller the change i can be there :(

I plan to make this years fan fest, I will have to cancel a couple of gigs, so the sooner I get a date the better.

As do I, the new fiscul year starts July 1st at my factory, all holidays for this year have to be booked by then..... Please CCP, roughly would be better then nothing

ROFL skiing here in iceland keep on dreeming, as for the cold, bring warm sweater. Oh and since the fanfest will be held in the hotel you will stay @ if you buy the pack you dont even have to go outside

kl mn me and a freind are already going we have tickets and hotel all booked we are staying at the bjork hotel and we are leaving hethrow on the 8th of november plz convo me in agem or reply to this if u are intrested in meeting up
