I have not been able to find a straight answer for this; you know all the tags (serpentis copper tag etc) and insignias (caldari navy captains insignia etc), where EXACTLY do you hand them in for isk?
PLEASE a straight simple answer is all that's needed  |

you use those to get stuff from lp stores or you can sell those in 1 of the mayor hubs |

There's various different types of Identification items available in this game.
Most are just Insignia Tags used to get a discount on items in Loyalty Point stores, some Identification items are simply strange mission objective items for Cosmos Agents such as DNA Strands or a Head In Jar, etc. Some Identification items can actually be sold to Concord / DED stations for ISK, such as OPE boxes (Overseer's Personal Effects).
Most of the tags used in Loyalty Point stores are basically Faction tags with named ranks, ie, Caldari Navy Captain Insignia I, Republic Fleet Private Insignia I, etc. There's also Commander Pirate tags used in the LP stores as well, such as Dark Blood Brass Tag, Domination Silver Tag, etc.
The other type of Pirate Tags, such as the Serpentis Copper Tag, Angel Bronze Tag, etc, can be turned in to Agents at Data Centers for an increase in Faction standing.
In my experience I've found that it's best to save all those strange items because eventually it will be needed.

I'd read up on which items are needed as COSMOS mission objectives and then go to the relevant COSMOS systems to sell them for top dollar. Someone in the middle of running COSMOS mission chains may be in enough of a hurry that they'd rather pay a bit more for tags a few jumps away instead of going to a trade hub. |

Which would put more isk in pocket in your opinion? I would assume ISK on market right away considering LP you can do other things right away. Not sure which would be more profitable.
