Most players that argue with the argument "that it's unfair" should try to undertand the human mind at it's core. It is impossible to stop piracy (unless all humans should start thinking like "let's be friends and leave in peace" (highly unlikely)).
The best argument that i have heard in this thread was like this: CCP thinked that if u can't stop the ebay players, than u must join them (a good proverb is : what's the point in going against the flow of the water).
I also have the opinion that the way u see yourself in real life, u see yourself in the game. For me in real life doesn't affect me that there are people who have cars, wealth and fame, as long as it doesn't affect me personally. If u want, u can be rich in the game, if u have good thinking.
The brain is the most important cell of our body. Use it. Just like in real life, if u struggle enough u will be wealthy and with money, and so goes in the world of Eve.
Understanding the mechanics of the game and how it goes, it's one of the most underrated argument to prove my point. If u have better understanding of this world, u will be much rich than others (so what if a guy with RL money buys a character that has 100mil SP).
Most people don't enjoy the simple truths in life: like walking in a park, kissing u're girlfriend, eating an icecream, go biking, surfing etc. Same goes to Eve. U all worry too much about what is fair and unfair. If u are smart enough u can succeed in Eve and become more powerfull than a gamer who has bought his way in with RL money.
I'm also a former player of Starcraft. If you don't like how this game evolves, (mostly like any other paying mmorpg that exist) then u should try Starcraft. In that game it only counts your skill and training (no money can buy u a way in). It is a 1v1 environment. The only person who should blame for not succeding, is you. But in mmorpg people start whining about the issue known as "fairness", because they have who to blame besides them, and thatĘs other players.
EVE IS FUN. PLAY IT WHILE IS FUN. IF IT IS NOT FUN ANYMORE, SWITCH GAME OR DO SOMETHING THAT'S MAKING U HAPPY.
That's the end of it
