I donĘt think they are all that rare, or at least not rare enough to justify an auction for one. Also, I believe it is the second best tech 1 item of its type. There is one that gives ū90% velocity bonus. Fleeting inhibitor or some such. It may just be because I have 3 in the cargo hold and 2 on ships that makes it seem less rare though. Sorry to rain on your parade and all.

I'm not an auctions expert, but it looks like you've set this up correctly. I note two things, however: (i) this is not the best named T1 variation of this item (see Fleeting Propulsion Inhibitor I, admittedly much more pricey), and (ii) there are many X5s on the market in Heimatar, including one in Isendeldik for 500 k.
That said, this is a useful item and 350 kISK is a good price, so I'll start things off with a bid for at 350 kISK.

Thanks for the bid and the correction. I am new at this and wanted to start with a cheapish item to tey out the medium.
Just so as you know, the one in isen is mine. When I get home I had intended taking it off the market You see 500k was the *hidden* reserv by the way but as of now I am removing the reserve altogether. BTW I have two units in case that one gets bought in the meantime, I did want to keep one to myself.
Hope that is straight now.

Quite sweet, really. There is nothing wrong with auctioning common items, guys... everyones got to start somewhere. We forget how much 1m isk is to new players.
But yes, its not worth setting up an auction for an item like this, you can get them off the market for 500k-1m almost anywhere.
But the sun is out and I'm in a good mood, so if you deliver it to KDF-GY and put it on escrow there for me, I'll give you 5m. Because I like this thread and I like your attitude.
If you lose it along the way, send me the killmail and I'll give you the ISK anyway

KDF-GY ? isnt that one of the "DEVILS PLACE" for noobs? poor fella will loose is ship to deliver the X5 :P no offense ISS.. But Estrbor, put it in market for a price from 500k - 1mil ( or more depending how is the market in your region ) its better then loosing a ship (or more) for 5 mil isks..

Of course not, he can hop in a shuttle, he has a cheap clone.... what has he got to lose?

OK so the bid is 5mill to Butter dog if I deliver it to KDF-GY . That is a system name right? Is there a particual station I should escrow it from?
Anyway, given that I said the auction closes on the sunday shutdown I will have to wait until then, I guess. :( I could use the 5mill.

I did check the market in my region and there are none there for sale which i why I thought it would be suitable to auction. Besides, this is more of a toe in the water than anything else. I am only a noob and we all have to start somewhere. I hope I am not annoying anyone too much.

Thankyou Jaeger. You are very generous. a mill meands a lot to me at this stage of the game too.
As I said in my eve-mail to you, I like to give 10 or 20k to day olds to help them get their first frigates when I am in the training systems. Both yours and Butter Dog's generosity warms my heart :)

No surprises but Butter Dog renegged saying that he didn't suggest I deliver using and alt, that I cheated :( Oh well!
