So, If anyone could explain what happened...
in order this happened:
1: payed for character, it transfered fine.
[16 billion]
2: Logged off
3: Hours later. logged back into my main account, to find i have 16 billion isk back ...
4: Checked my alt account to see if i still had the character - i did not.
I did check the transaction history of the character when i logged in briefly for the first time.
lots of plx bought with the isk, which i thought was normal i guess since the price rise...
What DID make me suspicious though... Is how i was Mailed MINUTES after this thread was created, asking for exactly the amount of isk i had, for a character too perfectly fitting...

Are you stating that you were scammed or you were almost scammed and it got reversed? |

I have no idea what happened. Submitted a ticket to ask why..
Was more wondering if anyone could explain what happened, or it they knew what could have happened.. (like If anyone has had this happen, and can explain why, or anything.) :)
The offer was too perfect, in hindsight, but at the same time... he stated here he wanted to sell it, and i payed what he asked.
I'm confused as to what happened ... thats why im posting here... :P |

We can not go into specifics regarding another players account. However if you look at your wallet history and see that a GM reversed a transaction then it is for a good reason. If you have any specific questions we may be able to offer more information via a ticket as opposed to a forum thread.

thanks - I did ask in a support ticket, but was more curious to see if anyone else had similar problems, and if they could give suggestion as to what caused it..

Made up a name close to someone with a high skill point eve board and then sold you the newly created clone instead.
Almost scammed, although I can't imagine they get away with this type very often. |
