Well this is not about the mechanics of hi-sec but about the new CODE war dec on high sec to force people to vote they way they want.
I don't want hi-sec to change, I love it just the way it is. But It kinda annoys me when someone is trying to influence the CMS by blackmailing people in the game. "Do as we say or we will blow you up."
Well with this and the Goons freighter hunt that will just make my profit a little better if they are successful that is.

It isn't hard for them to drop by with the message that NullSec alliances can offer better protection, so indirectly they could be using third-party corporations to instigate a constant sense of danger for those that reside in HighSec. They can easily profit from the flocks of people that would simply join their ranks to empower their political intrigues with other alliances in NullSec.

Exactly my point; by causing difficulty to HighSec corporations, and new pilots they are basically destroying HighSec, and that's where a lot of people keep their alts to generate a revenue stream to support their main objectives. Therefore, it is quite a nice turn of events that HighSec is becoming less and less secure due to the LowSec alliances basically ravaging HighSec through war declarations. However, if you have any clear ideas on how to improve the situation then it is for the best that you publicly share these ideas as many HighSec corporations, and alliances are facing grave difficulties.

I started ganking as a response to the constant nerfs on ganking and wardecs, now stepping it up after the Erotica 1 farce.

More than just the "same shite, different day" is going on here. There may well be even MORE ganking going on now, as rational-thinking people protest the unequal treatments given to E1 and Sohkar, both of whom are equally guilty of violating the TOS. I know I'm going to be bringing my suicide ganking alt out of retirement, and I'll be sending each victim an evemail informing them that their death was my way of protesting what I perceive to be an injustice, an unequal application of the rules. I plan on highly encouraging my corp members to engage in all manner of griefing and underhandedness in protest as well.

To harm highsec one must reduce the profitability of highsec production, to reduce the profitability of highsec production one must eliminate demand for highsec produced goods, and in order to do that would require something that goes against the very foundation of the game....

If you wish to truly wage war on high sec, don't pvp. If their is no pvp their is no loss of goods, prices will plummet as items stack up in the hubs, which will cause production to faulter, which will cause a surplus in minerals, which will drive down the value of ores, which will make mining less profitable.

Ganking more will help highsec, it will only create further demand for goods which will fuel production which will increase demand for minerals which will drive up the value of ore. If you really want to hurt highsec you have to hurt it's economy, and the only way to do that is to stop participating in and inhibit gameplay that the highsec economy is based on.

It's (an even more egregious, imo) violation of the TOS to make threats of real-life bodily harm and murder against another player, as it is to make racial slurs. Nevertheless, Sokhar gets a free pass and suffers no consequences for breaking the rules, yet E1 gets permabanned for breaking the rules.

If you ban one, you have to ban the other, or you're not accepting and applying the rules of the game. See the difference? I dont care that E1 got banned, I care that he did and the other guy (who imo committed the more severe "crime") did not.

It's all about NullSec politics, clearly. However, when you see it in a certain way the one most beneficial from this are NullSec alliances that could encourage a chunk of the pilot population to move from HighSec to potentially LowSec or even NullSec. Although, the current constant input of war declarations towards new corporations, or simply new players, and those who prefer to play within HighSec risks to break the game apart.
