Following on from finding the trailer here is the full episode one of the Chinese Mini Series ... with English Subtitles.
Its very wierd ....... if anybody reads the backstory stuff can you tell me if the character Vane exists, or is it just made up for this show ?

Not enough funding, not enough space and spaceships, seems like a mediocre indie film with brief scenes of EVE related stuff thrown in to qualify linking it with EVE Online.
Granted it is only the first episode, guess we'll just have to wait and see if the budget for the future episodes was higher.
Also it's interesting how they chose to center the plot around a Gallente character, considering how sanitized/altered the Gallente Federation apparently is on the Chinese server.
Oh, and if they're supposed to be from the period in EVE history when the EVE Gate collapsed, how are their Gallente Federation ships in this in the first place? |

I agree ... does say to be continued at the end with a shot of a space ship in space ... so maybe future episodes will be in space or at least on a space ship. |

And hopefully in a time period that makes sense.
I did like at end the Megathron flying over the city I've had dreams that were just like that,except in my dreams it's not a Megathron but a Dominix that unleashes drones upon the city (someone should make a mini series about that). But as soon as the novelty of that wore off I found myself wondering why a Federation battleship would have two Executioner class Amarrian frigates escorting it. |

I recently bought EVE Source and have really enjoyed reading it, I think whoever made this series should have done the same before making it. |

The worst Sci trope after space-madness
Still, the acting was better than Clear Skies and the whole thing was better than both Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and Tomorrow People, so +/- 0
Yanks should like it, as its entirely filmed in modern-day corridors and offices, like all their current TV scifi
