I have finally been able to purchase a Cruiser and I'm using this as my main ship.
However, I am still working on level 1 agent missions. The problem I'm encountering is that every now and then the agent gives me a "Worlds Collide" mission which requires a frigate class ship.
I still have my frigate class, which is equipped to handle this missions, but it is a few systems away from the agent I'm gaining standing with. Is there any way to move both my cruiser and frigate to the same station, short of buying a transport ship with enough cargo hold to store this ship?
Thanks

I typically buy a shuttle, fly to the frigate, sell the shuttle, and fly the frigate back to the cruiser... I was in that very predicament. ^^ From The Many - One "Action should never be divorced from consequence." "Know what the chain of command is? The problem is the station I'm at doesn't have any ships for purchase.
I noticed that you can eject in space and fly around in your pod, but if your in a station, you can't get out of your ship and leave it at the station.

Edited by: Biske Drogen on 08/05/2006 00:55:28 Oh... Wow, I haven't found a station that doesn't have at least one of the four shuttles available for sale.
I'm not sure in that case. There's a trick where you can hit eject right when your ship docks, and your ship will dock and your pod will remain out of the station -- but I don't think I'd recommend that. Besides, I think pods fly at 100 m/s, not very fast.
Hopefully someone else has another suggestion. >.>

Shuttles are not bound by any racial ship skill, remember. And every station in civilised space will have shuttles. They're NPC-produced. -------------- What good are actions if there's no one to tell the tale afterward?

No sorry but thats not always the case.
I have encountred staions with no shuttles, even if they are rare.

To get a shuttle to your station, put cargo expanders in the low slots of your cruiser until it can carry 500m3, then fly to somewhere which does sell shuttles and get one. This is possible with about half the cruisers in the game.

Edit: typo --

Edited by: Rahvin Damodred on 08/05/2006 10:53:10 while docking with your cruiser . select 'eject' during the approach . but wait with accepting until you heard the autopilot say 'docking request accepted'. then accept the eject and you will be in space in your pod and your ship gets towed into the hangar automaticly . Then just fly in your pod to where your other ship is . dock there , board it and fly it back .

As a small aside, using a Cruiser for Level 1 Kill Missions is a little overkill... Maybe time to move on to Level 2s?
