A while after Goonfleet retreated from XZH in Cloud Ring, I needed to move the jump clone I'd left in the station there. I clonejumped to it, and figured instead of just self-destructing to podjump back, I'd go out fighting, so I grabbed one of my spare T1 Rifters with a standard tackling setup and undocked, intending to find someone to make a kamikaze run against. My search didn't take long, since there was an Ares hanging around outside the station. I immediatly locked him and attacked...and he sat there doing nothing while I took him to half armor or so. Finally, he noticed that he was getting raped by a Rifter and started shooting back. He wasn't doing much damage to me, though, and I had him almost dead. Then, as he started moving off the station, my ship bumped into one of the pylons and stopped dead, allowing him to slip out of web range. He promptly zipped off to 30km or so while my ship was still spinning in circles, lobbed a couple more missiles at me, then warped off.
Disappointed at my failure to either get myself blown up or kill an AFK interceptor, I started hunting for someone else to shoot at. However, I was unable to find any other hostiles in space. I headed for the gate, figuring I'd have better luck elsewhere. As I came out of warp, however, a familiar name showed up on my overview: the very same Ares pilot, now sitting on the gate in jump range, evidently waiting for me to try to make my escape. Of course, I had other plans. I engaged him again and this time he wasted no time in returning fire. However, his missiles were still doing little damage to me, while my autocannons were putting a hurting on him. This time, I didn't run into any structures and he was unable to escape. He exploded while I was barely into structure.
I was rather baffled that I'd just killed an interceptor with a T1 Rifter and so-so skills, but the killmail and loot soon revealed the reason. This particular Ares was armed only with FoF missiles. Yes, that was all he had in his hold except some ammo for his single railgun. He was also fitting an auto targeting module, which of course is an essential component of any FoF missile interceptor build... :D All of his fittings were T1 and most were unnamed (I think he had one 'Malkuth' launcher). The best part, though, was that when I engaged him at the gate, he had full armor and structure, which means he'd docked up and repaired after our first battle, and, despite almost getting blown up by a T1 Rifter once, didn't change ships, switch to better fittings, or even load some real missiles before undocking and trying to camp me into the system alone.
I ended up flying that Rifter to A-S, and I'm pretty sure it's still there to this day, since I haven't been back to that part of Syndicate for a while.
