[1] Who plays eve in this resolution and how did they get it? I used to play even in 1280x960 but now it seems to be removed from the available resolutions. Can anyone tell me how to set it to 1280x960? I tried evedude from eve-i site but that too is borked for me for some reason the resolution window comes up blank in evedude and I can not add anything to it. Spelling corrections welcome, but don't expect me to edit my post. |

DO I need to add this to the file or is it there and need a edit? Also, does it matter if I want to play in window mode? I mean do I need to add anything for that or can I jsut use the box in pref area? Spelling corrections welcome, but don't expect me to edit my post. |

So when you hit the resolution arrow what comes up? I get just a black box opened when I do this in evedudeplus. Maybe my eve install is messed up? Spelling corrections welcome, but don't expect me to edit my post. |

[17] I play at that res but managed to get it through the ingame menu? Am I the only one who seems to be able to do this? My desktop res is the higher tho at 1280x1024 so that may have something to do with it. "Never let your sense of morals prevent you from doing what is right!" |

[19] I attempted to do this to get my client back to 1024x768, but every time I start it, it comes up in 1280x1024. |

Wow, who'd have thought that 4 year-old info might be out-of-date? Astonishing (Mods, can you lock all threads over 6 months old or something...please?) |

[24] Also if you want to benefit from anti aliasing, force full anti aliasing in your NVIDIA control panel or ATI Catalyst (the max you can go) and then add this (exactly) to first line of PREFS.INI advancedDevice=1 Load eve, you should now have Multisample drop down, put to highest quality level you can go, and put your "present interval" to around Interval one/ two. Makes it look much nicer! :) All those horrible jagged edges disappear, and nice subtle motion blur. I know this Trinity engine doesn't utilize modern video cards, but i can't understand why anti aliasing doesn't work for me without this setting on... very strange... NVIDA cards look better than ATI for a change with this setting, as they can go a lot higher for some reason. (ATI normally best for all settings on MAX, NVIDA better pure grunt no options on) |
