Nice The colorings never seem to hurt as much as outlines and black spaces to me.

Those that think it's pathetic, or that he's a nerd.. consider the fact it's still art, and a nice image at that.
Even long after eve is gone, it'll still be there, and a nice pic.
people get tatts of mickey mouse, looney toons, and other things... and that's not even art. Hell, on Miami Ink, someone had an M.C. Escher tattooed on his back.
it's up to the person what they like, and what it means to them... what it means to someone else is of no matter.

Why?
I have Bob Marley tattood from my knee to my foot...
Yet I've been a skin for 10years...
My tattoos are there for a reason, they mean something to me, they define parts of my life...
And even if I never listen to a marley record again, there isnt any way im ever going to regret any of the hours worth of art work my body has.
Im sure it wasnt a decision he took lightly.
Of course people whine, its cause your sig sucks

I wonder what the most important reason for chosing that particular image is:
is it because it comes from EVE? or is it because you just like it aesthetically and it doesn't matter that much that it comes from EVE?

It's all about the art most definatly. I'd come to a point in my life where I wanted to express the things I enjoy in some way, and the tattoo is a good way of doing that.
I love EVE I really do it's an inspiration to things I write and read, and as a game it's excellent. But the artwork and backstory are what it's all about to me. I've always been into Sci-fi, Cyberpunk, Real Science and Astronomy and the backstory and race artwork for EVE are the best I've seen around. Of course as my Blog states by the time I went under the needle yesterday I'd thought about this for 8 months. I'd researched a tattooist that was right for me that had done similar things, and carefully thought about what i wanted.
I'd like to thank everyone who has commented here, both in a suportive way and the 'OMG you are nuts' way. After that first session the amount of sessions I will be going through for this has risen from an estimate of 5 to 8, so theres a lot more to do. So keep posted. Although my next session is not until 22nd June, so abit of time to wait ------------------------------------------------- AWMCorp is Recruiting
