Well folks as I annouced back in March I was going through the process of getting an EVE-Inspired tattoo based upon the Racial Wallpapers. Well after much discussion back and forth with my tattooist I finally went under the needle this afternoon GMT.
Needless to say the tattoo is Nowhere Near Complete and the image of the japanese symbol is being covered by an elaborate design which will eventually cover the whole of my back.
But anyways go, read and absorb the pain I've just gone through by reading the blog Here. I must admit it would have been nice to have some colour in the peice but unfortunatly I couldn't cope with more pain after 2.5 hours of continuous needles.
Anyways the next session isn't until 22nd June so I have time to recover. I will also update the pictures with something a little more Stable and viewable when I get a chance later tonight. 
Oh and please as I requested before - please keep flames TO YOURSELF and dont post. I did say this last time in the announcement but some of the resident forum warriors felt they needed to throw names around.

Heh, nice one mate. I have an EVE tattoo in the works is well. I thought about it just as you started your blog, funny.
Was going to be a Matari tat though I think... still undecided yet.

Oh, stop whining about pain, it doesn't feel that much.
Besides, I think the healing is worse, when it itches...

Tattoos are something that you should take time to think what you want before going... the OP has, he wants it so he got it. Even if Eve goes under it will remind him of good times he had on the game. when hes old everytime he see's it, it will bring back nice memorys. I have the NERV logo on my right arm from Neon Genesis Evangelion and every time i see it, i have happy memorys from the time i got it, to dead family members that went with me for for it, to ex girlfriends.. i've never had a bad memory.. i don't think i ever will, and i'm sure the OP won't.

Nice work. Don't think I'd tattoo anything from a game for myself but you've picked a nice image. Looking forward to watching as it's built up

On a side note, as a tattoo virgin I'm thinking of having a small one done of the Amarr symbol - wonder if I will squeal like a little girl?

Not planning on getting a tattoo at all, but if I'd want an EVE one I think a small Guristas bunny logo hidden somewhere would make a great tattoo.
