How about a new "Remote Cloaking Device II" that are only usable by black ops battleships. Once you activate it on a friendly (or a hostile if you're an evil troll) it provides a powerful cloak even if the ship is targeted by another ship, or in within 2000m from an object that would ordinarily stop your cloak. Once activated the black ops ship becomes stationary and unable to move for 60 seconds, increases sig radius by 500%, and reduces scan res by 50%.
The target ship gains all of the same penalites of a standard Covert ops Cloak device.
40km Range. Capacitor use increases according to signature radius of the target ship

Make sure it transfers suspect/criminal flags as well.
And of course it shouldn't work if your targeted by concord.

Yeah it's remote assistance, so works same as logi. You gain all the flags/timers of the target. So concorded if you help a crim in high sec. |

Well since the capacitor use is based on sig radius, titan would be way too big. So no.
Probably limited to a battleship with it's MWD Off, or not target painted.
let's say a ship with 500 sig is pushing the limit. |

I don't know if this thread is trolling or not, so I will give an honest opinion.
While at the moment the way cloaking is, it completely balanced. Balanced to the point where if adding stuff to cloaking, or taking away from cloaking will tip the scaled to one direction or the other.
Before anything can be done with cloaking, one must....Figure out how to rewrite entire game mechanics.... I hope everyone knows the game mechanics I speak of. |
