made it safe home :D went through 3 systems in a reaper... (damn market, there was no ships for sale!!!)
bought a rifter, mwd+injectors+nano
went through a gate camp at 3000m/s :p
well it was a real waste in all ways you look at it, except that it was fun :P
end of the story :P

I had a similar set of experiences... The first being getting INTO 0.0 with an Osprey, because I was dead set on mining ultra rare ore while I was in my newbie corp and I went out solo. I actually did make it pretty far, but I got ownt in the end. The second was an escape from 0.0, wherein I had a Scorpion out there and I was in an alliance but the alliance commander said something I didn't like and I told him about some colorful ideas I had about him and then I was called KOS because I was a "traitor". Suddenly not only did the red - in a box mean run, but so did the blue + and *.

Remember fleeing back to empire in a shuttle. Warped 15km away from the gate and a gate camp was sitting there. Luckily they were preoccupied with another attack force so I ran as fast (600 m/s only) as my little shuttled could take me. I got locked, nossed and shot at by an Armageddon but luckily he didn't sick his drones on me or webbed me. Would have been another two jumps to a 0.0 NPC station to pick up another shuttle.

Best thing is to have instas on every route you might go, with some alt routes, and a safe spot or two in every system. Are you flying caldari? Fit all stabs and nano, harden and strengthen your shield up really nice. Check map for # of pilots. Travel right after downtime.
Other than that, there is only one other way to be invisible to stuff like bubbles and camps.. and that's to buy another account to use as a scout. There's an increasing # of people doing this. It really gives you a huge edge in traveling 0.0, you'll lose a LOT less ships to camps. You just send your alt frig ahead of you wherever you go, if the frig gets popped you know to stay away, if it doesn't then you're clear.

lol! It's fun being hunted to the end of space. I was in FNA for a very long time (Gallente federal navy academy). That was one of the reasons I didn't want to leave, because everyone hunts you.. it's just too much fun. Everywhere you warp someone wants a piece of you.

i got a second account, on which i only train learning etc, all the stuff everyone-should-do-first-but-nobody-does . and well she's becoming more useful than my "main" lol... but noted, i'll try that eheh

Insure your ship, remove all mods, undock. That way atleast you get your money back and a free transport back to high-sec.
